I have just reserved one of these. I did want an Ipad, but for what I will be using it for, I think this will suit me. Is there much difference between a 32gig and a 64gig?
I reserved the 64, but am wondering if I will need it. I am planning on using it to watch films when I'm travelling mainly. Thanks
Yes. There's 32gb of difference. So that's about 40 more compressed films or a few more HD films. There is a better chance that the 32gb will have a flat back panel whereas the 64gb will likely have a bulge0 -
Look at the weight specs. That can be the only possible difference. If you have a case for it, then it doesn't really matter. This is a dirt cheap iPad with a decent OS, better than the Gingerbread crap from random manufacturers!Living off £450 per month is easy...! If you aren't single! :j0

Hi
Collected my 64gb model yesterday from Currys and must say so far
I'm very impressed with the build quality of the unit.
Having always owned an ipad seen they were released I thought I'd give the playbook a try the 7" is nice and compact size and very portable.
Overall very pleased its a nice little unit at a great price.0 -
I have just collected mine from Currys, I haven't opened the box yet, but am really excited! Thanks so much for posting this OP, what a bargain x£100 - £10,0000

Hi, looking for something that will work with the cbeebies / cbbc games etc that my son loves ...if anyone has got one of these will they see if they work on the tablets for me? Thanks0

Got mine today, but couldn't get my betterhalf's gmail to work.. I must have spent hours... Funnily enough, mine worked fine.. but his kept rejecting the password although I knew it was correct as I double checked on my laptop... After a few wasted hours, I found out that you have to set it up with two passwords from google..
I am delighted with it.. It is exactly what my husband needs.. Computers are far too complicated for him.. He just wants to surf the net and check his emails etc.. so it is the bees knees...
Thanks op...0 -

I've tried Snap on Cbeebies on my 32g playbook and it works. Hope this helps. If you want me to try more I'll get my kids to have a look tomorrow, just PM me and ask.0 -
As I posted earlier, ordered mine a week or so ago, while I was away on holiday. Turned up a couple of days ago just after I got back.
Really enjoying using it. Yes, the screen is half the size of the ipad, an no, it is not an ipad. But if you can get over those two points, it is a great piece of kit for the money.
And, I have just seen on the Curry's website the price of the 16GB model has dropped to £109 - so you could actually buy THREE of these for less that the price of ONE ipad !0 -
Was gonna get DD an android tablet for Christmas, was quite excited by the Google Nexus ad, but have ordered one of these. Free delivery too, I think she'll be delighted.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
I'm really quite unimpressed by the BB tabs. I found them uninspiring to use and frankly boring. Go for a Nexus or iPad0
