I think what we ought to do here is leave this thread as is to be honest, this stems from the post I made this morning on the feedback forum. The question was asked and this is the answer.
I know there are other questions that have been raised on here and as the FM has said they do take considerable time to answer and follow up.
As and when, members can always go back to the feedback forum and ask questions on there as to what can and cant be posted etc thats what its there for afterall. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -

But leaving this thread open allows specific feedback to be given back to us from the FM, like the answers to Trebor's comments from the legal team.
I only knew about the other thread in the feedback forum because someone(you?) linked to it on another thread here.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Just a thought, didnt someone say in another thread that the contract/document is a public document and could be proved so by paying a fee (Cant remember how much as the thread is no longer here) would it be cheaper for MSE to pay this fee to provide this document than waste more money on legal fees?
Doing so would blow all this out of the water wouldnt it?Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Just because you can buy it, it doesn't necessarily follow that you can publish it.One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

I would say leave the thread open for a day or two so as long as it doesnt decend into a mud slinging match, far better to comment on what has been posted at the moment. Then FM to lock it until / as and when further answers to other questions that have been asked get answered. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -

Would you mind emailing our abuse channel and marking it for my attention with some more information and I'll personally look into it for you.

Its good to have some sort of answer to what has been going on with some threads being removed.
I find it strange that our advice is said to be wrong and yet certain companies contact the site to complain!
We have all seen abuse posted towards certain PPC's but it is nearly always instigated by someone from a PPC posting here.
I must also say that some of the abuse dished out by the trolls has been far worse then most of us here post up!
A certain regular poster here has been the precipitant of some very severe abuse, probably illegal abuse!0 -
The advice is to ignore, but that is soon to change. But if a company is doing something that looks, feels and acts like a scam as its now Not legal for them to issue a claim, shouldn't it be called a scam ? Also as Martin said himself that it's effectively a cowboy industry what are we supposed to do ?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
One thing for the MSE Forum team, It seems obvious that we do have PPCs on here 'undercover' as it were (and if that was my business I might think twice about holding my head up in public too) still, should they not, under forum rules, be made to officially register as companies?
It would be good to see them made to tow the line rather than just come in and complain.
I doubt any of them will take up the offer or the challenge to try and improve the 'service' they offer but at the moment it seems a bit one way. The forum is having to bend to them and we aren't making them stick by the rules.
5t.What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
Forum manager:
From the the complaints you receive from parking companies, could you say what their main complaints are?.
As per previous poster could you not suggest they come on here offically and not act undercover as fairly obvious trolls? For everthing else there's mastercard.
