Another sale of a toy on Facebook....and another £12 to pay off the debt - will sort out online once I've finally got the kids into bed.

Have another item being collected tomorrow....only £3.50 but every penny matters!!!;)

An finally beginning to get the house organised & back into some kind of routine. Boys' beds changed & their bedroom cleaned. All the house has been vacuumed & is (relatively) tidy!!

Tomorrow I'm meeting up with a friend & am aiming for a NSD - she's much more MSE than me:rotfl:

Only spends today was a book of stamps (around £3.60!!!). Sold something on Facebook for £3.50 - to be paid off the debt total later!!

Have almost finished labelling kids' uniform - what a thankless task that is!!

DS1 had an accident on his scooter today and now has 3 nasty scabs on his face - it could have been a lot worse though, so am grateful he's ok.....kids eh.....

Right, am in the middle if doing tea, so will check in later & update my totals!!!

So we realised today that the PPI payment was paid into my DH's account (which we never use..) 2 days ago - so we hadn't noticed:eek:

Overdraft therefore paid off today - plan is to get DH's car serviced and the all important cam-belt change asap and then get my car serviced! We couldn't afford to get either of them done last year (for the first time ever) and so we both agree it's important to get them done before the winter, especially as DH goes on the motorway every day, and I have to use my car as part of my job!

Then, the money that we would normally put into our "car account" will be put towards Christmas instead for the next 2-3 months. Have the MOT's due in December/January, but I'm hoping that they'll pass these, after having been serviced. My insurance is due in a week or so, but we have this money put aside.

So in the week or so since we've returned from holiday, the debt has been reduced by £831.57!!:j:j Still a long way to go - but it's a good start!!

    Current debt total: £5766.30

Proud of DH today. He took our 2 DSs shopping whilst I met up with a friend. Rather than break into next week's cash budget (as we've used up this weeks' - must remember to budget for the window cleaner ) he took change out of our loose change pot to pay for the car park! He went straight in, got what we needed, and left again....no additional spending!! Previously he would have given in & taken kids to Mcdobalds or something whilst he was out....but he didn't:j

I've spent £4 on leather cleaner & £8 for windows!! Am very cross with myself as I should have rebooked my DD's swimming lessons by the end of today, but didn't realise. Now I've got to be there at 8.00am tomorrow to try & keep her space:mad:

Monday morning.....the end of the school holidays (well, almost....) and back to work for me tomorrow!!

Weighed myself this morning and am pleased to report that I'm now down to 9st 8lbs:j. That means I've lost almost 3lbs since I returned from holiday. This has been done just by cutting out ice creams after dinner:o and late night snacks.

Had a bit if a spendy day yesterday as had to go food shopping again & stock up on things for school/work lunches - haven't totalled it up yet, but it's going to be tight for the rest of the month:mad:

It's a lovely morning here so washing will go out shortly & hope to take the kids out to the park later!

Have a good day everyone x

Happy Weekend everyone! I'm certainly glad of the break...it's been hard adjusting to the work/school routine again & I feel shattered:rotfl:

Lots to do this weekend that I haven't felt like doing all week so think a list is needed.

    Check online banking
Renew car insurance (budgeted & saved for)
    Clean the house:eek:
    Ironing :eek::eek:
DD dancing this morning - need to buy new tap & ballet shoes & new uniform (why do these children have to keep growing???)
    DS football matches tomorrow
Order online shop - have been sent a voucher & at least I'll be able to check what I'm spending
Tidy up the garden.....never ending job:(

Right must get sorted - dancing in a bit....report back later

Very high spending day today.....£276 on car insurance, £49.30 on DD for ballet/tap and tickets for her presentation and £312 for a new cam belt on DH's car. None of this is on the credit card though.....we have budgeted for it all - so that's a good start.:money:

Our weekends are more DFW when the kids have their activities/sports - they are ocuppied and happy and we have no time to go shopping:T

Have attacked some of the house and garden but more to try & do tomorrow.......currently sitting with the kids whilst they're watching Dr Who. Am shattered :rotfl:
