guess from reading more recent posts on how to feed a FAMILY of four for under £40 a week I guess their income has now decreased a lot (unlike when she wanted a loan for 2-3k for a weeks SPENDING MONEY for new york)

Is it just me or does the timeline of the OP's posts (plus those on the link provided by a new user) not make sense?

Wedding planner thread (not MSE) started on 6/7/2012 with the OP (presumably but with the username being the same, trip to New York, 2 kids etc it sounds too coincidental to be 2 separate people) planning her wedding.
The wedding was planned for 13/7/2013 but 'he' didn't want it then as it was his 30th birthday.

This post started on 22/8/12 with the OP saying her ex was living with them (her & her 2 kids) but they weren't a couple AND there was no chance they would get back together.

Isn't that rather a big change in circumstances in 6 weeks?

OP starts another thread on 12/11/12 about help feeding 2 adults & 2 kids on £100 pw.

So who was the 'ex' the OP was living with in August 2012 (this thread)?

And who is the person she was with in Nov 2012? Surely not the ex mentioned in this thread as "He doesn't pay any bills, apart from abit of food."

Does this sound like an ex to you?
atm were spending about 100 on food a week for 2adults&2primary children.

We buy alot of crap imo, and eat out alot.

i NEED to get our budget to about 40 a week, even less if possible!

we eat alot of chicken, not keen on much other meat, but like gammon, sausages, burgers, mince.

i need meal plans for a week, and a whole shopping list, with packed lunch too! is this impossible?

im thinking about getting big bags of potatoes ect are they cheaper from a farm or supermarket? help pleasee!
