Just thought I'd pop back to sing the praises of playtrade! Since I last posted, I've made over £200 from selling some of my absolute tosh CDs
:rotfl:CDs which I couldn't give away on ebay! I've not had one problem buyer either & I love that they don't charge you fees until the item has actually sold. Even when the fees are full price, I find it more reasonable that FEEbay.
Good stuff.0 -
Full marks to Playtrade too - made £71 minus postage from the site - so very pleased. :j
Next stop GreenMetropolis for all my University books in the loft. :TMoney can't buy friends, but it can get you a better class of enemy - Spike Milligan.0 -
Have to agree with the others. I *love* Playtrade. I have made £40 this month and given that your selling fees are refunded too is great. Off to list more tat and see if that goes.

Started selling some games on playtrade at the start of April this year. And its gone well sold most of what I have out up. Now I knew from teh start I had to wait 21 days to transfer funds to a bank account- but to save money I intended to let my playfunds grow then spend the money on play.com . Now here the problem- its been over 21 days since i set up the account but i still can't spend the playfunds on play.com
I have looked for the playfund thing at the the checkout where it has your credit card info etc, but nothing. When i set up the play trade account i entered my saving account info just incase i wanted to transfer the money. Now the saving account info is different from the credit card I have on my play.com account could that be my problem?
Had a llok at my oplaytrade account and it says: We are not able to initiate your PlayFunds transfer at the current time.- Bit odd since I have not changed my bank acount details since i set it up, over 21 days ago. Also it says-
This is the current value of your PlayFunds account. You can spend this on Play.com.- but no option appear at the checkout stage.
Could someone help me out please??0 -
Does sound like your account info might be wrong - surely you need to enter a current account or credit card. A savings account doesn't normally allow money directly in or out of it.
If it is working properly you'll get 'Playfunds' appear on the right when you checkout - this is how I paid for play items myself.Money can't buy friends, but it can get you a better class of enemy - Spike Milligan.0 -

You realise when you change your bank details you have to wait ANOTHER 21 days....
Utter rubbish tbh - I've sold £90 of stuff this month to get me a 360 and kindly been told I have to wait another 5 days for funds to clear....RARRRR!!!! Someone amuse me for 5 days !

I've never sold any of the items on my account and earlier the year they closed my account for no reason...rang them and they said it was an error. They said they were sorry. But I couldn't be bothered to relist items just for it to maybe happen again. I'm sticking with Amazon/Ebay personally.Student Moneysaver going to Paris next year! Trying to save!

Hi, i'm new here and just recently started selling on playtrade. For those that have sold on there, how long does it usually take to recieve the funds into a bank account, it says 7-10 days, just want to find out if it actually takes that long.0
