Timewasters - coping strategies!

I know people who in the past have regarded viewing homes as being good free weekend entertainment and at the time I thought it must be a frustrating waste of time for the vendor. The people I know tended to stop doing this when it became more common for agents to pursue them for feedback after a viewing but I guess there are plenty of thicker skinned people out there who still do it for entertainment.0

I am using both EA and an online agent. I really hope we eventually sell via the online agent as it will save us thousands. But although I have used them before I am not having much luck this time, only 1 viewing in 2 months, whereas the EA has sent quite a few round. You do have to do your own viewings though but who cares if you save money? :money:0 -

No harm in asking viewers to remove shoes
House on sale for more than a year = must be something?
What does your agent say?
Time to try a new agent?
Time to reduce the price?
I would be asking for feedback when they view. Take some pointers from Phil Spencer - Secret Agent

FYI - we can't get the full facts until you tell us them.

I'm not sure what Littleweedj's estate agency set-up has to do with the OP of this thread??What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
the number 1 way to weed out the timewasters is to get the agent do the first viewing, any others thereafter you are then present to answer questions...
as you are annoyed at giving up your time showing timewasters around then you should have used an agent which does that for you.0 -

Apologies to Littleweedj and the OP, for I stumbled into the impression that Littleweedj WAS the Original Poster ......

I had a feeling that might be the case. I'm sure no one will hold it against you! What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0
