I see by the other posts I am not alone in being screwed by orange. I just renewed my contract 3 weeks ago and during the sign up telephone conversation asked more than once whether or not I would keep my broadband, and I was told nothing would change. I , like most of you out there, feel cheated and the biggest pill to swallow is the fact that they waited until I renewed my contract to do this! ORANGE YOU ARE SCUM!0

Having put the point previously directly to Ofcom, they have stated that mis-selling cannot be categorised as a 'business decision'.
Tell CISAS that your complaint is that you were mis-sold your mobile contract, not that Orange is ending the offer. Make that point in a formal complaint to them.
If they still refuse to hear the complaint, Ofcom have said they would be very interested in hearing about it, so go back to them, and get a new complaint reference in regards to CISAS.ozgril2007 wrote: »I've written 2 letters, 1 email and also called Orange about the fact that my mobile package was sold to me with the free broadband included for the duration of the contract and that I expected free broadband to continue. I have not yet had a response from Orange and when I call I get told someone will call me back (and no one ever does).
I took my complaint to the CISAS after 8 weeks of no response from Orange. I asked them to end my contract early without penalty or continue the free broadband. This is the response from the CISAS I received this week. I still have not had a response from Orange which I find incredible. Any advice on what i should do next?

BT seem to be offering Orange customers a bit of a deal providing they already have a BT landline. On another note, has anyone noticed that since Enough is Enough came into being, Orange mobile 3G coverage seems to have gone down hill. Are they decreasing their power output to try and force people down the 4G route I wonder?0

Outrageous! - still mis-selling contracts! - beyond belief0 -
For what its worth I called the 0800 9801716 and said calmly that I had had a letter saying my broadband was being cancelled and which was odd because they had told me it was included with my upgrade contract. They said fair enough in that case they would extend it to the end of my contract in July. We never mentioned land lines at all.
Obviously it would have been better if they had done this for everyone two months ago but there it is. I did not really want feel like a fight at the moment, justified or not.0 -
Totally agree Eva, and they can't argue that it WAS a long time ago0
