So far I have only emptied and reloaded the DW, hung out a couple of loads of clothes - was at school all morning and it's so hot here I am struggling to function.
Have to go and get the kids school supplies later.
    Trying to keep in budget.

    Hi all :)
Hope everyone is happy and well :)
    May I join you please?
I am determined to complete the list every day this week - it's the one week I have completely off work, I also want to have a quick catch up with friends as well as looking after hubby,(he has arm in sling after having op just over a week ago after waiting over a year and a half).
Now, my two teenage boys,(14 and 18), have asked me if they can earn some money by doing some jobs for me so I am thinking of handing them some jobs to do, be it off the list or other but I will let you know what I have actually done every day :)
Okee doke, must get on :)
    Hugs to all,
    Jen :)

I'm looking for girls' black PE shorts age 4-5. I looked everywhere on Saturday and could only find age 5-6.

I'm new at this because it's my eldest starting school this year. Do girls wear cycle shorts for PE at that age, which is what I've seen so far?

some do and PLEASE I beg you from the bottom of my heart LABEL it all - they never recognise their own, unlabelled stuff; other kids pick it up (train her to put all her clothes in a neat pile and the teacher will ADORE you) and label plimsolls. Name tapes are available on line; copydex can be used to glue them into shoes and plimsolls or use an indelible (laundry) marker.

PC stripped and dusted - eww

you can't hear it all ALL now *glow*

    Jenny! welcome back anytime!
get them to do heavy work;)

    Afternoon all

    Been very productive:

Cleaned the mould off 3 windows upstairs
Cleaned all of DS1 room (he tidied it before going out)
Sorted out DS3's clothes so know what I need to buy now
DS2 tried his suit on - too small annoyingly so will need to buy a new one
    Changed DS1 bed
    2x wm
    Cleaned kitchen sink

Just going to have a cuppa and then dust DS3 room and my room - both already tidy so should not take long.

I carried on after my HHC until it was time to make lunches. Now I can't get going again. :o

On the plus side, beds are made and Mt Washmore has been pretty much conquered. Sauce for lasagne is bubbling along with shepherd's pie base. Veg soup is blended and just needs some cream and more seasoning.

Going to stick the beef joints in the oven next and then I can start on the kitchen and/or dining room.

Friend down the road has a full freezer, so I'll talk to NN next before phoning MIL later (she has a nap in the afternoons).

Salmon for tea tonight and there are some small pieces of meat for tomorrow. Given that the other things are made fresh today (lasagne sauce, shepherd's pie base, roast beef) - how long would you keep them in the fridge for? I want to avoid freezing things unnecessarily, but won't be able to use any of it until Wednesday.

Will stick the timer on for a QHC to get me going and make a coffee if that doesn't help.

    Hi

Monday - Kitchen & Dining Room
    Level One - done
    Level Two -done
    Level Three
Wipe cupboard doors - cba, lol
Dust a bookcase - are there any books that can go? - new cabinet, I only put in the books I'm keeping
Clear a hotspot - finished the bedding laundry all hung to dry
    Extras
HH Paperwork - checked final tax credit thingy, I owe them £600  for the first part of last year. Looks correct, but I don't know how it happened as I kept them up to date all along with DH illness and changing childcare needs...
Wipe and water plants - watered my lettuce!
Catch up on any phone calls - think am up to date

So, with regards the overpayment, does anyone know what happens? Will they redo my award for this year? It just says this is now due, but doesn't say how to pay it. Or do they send a separate request? Will they expect it all at once? Not stressing as I gather they are right, and I do have a little stash, but would like to be prepared for it, in case they want it whilst I'm on holiday or something...
