Morning All

Decluttered tots to nursery, a nurse appointment and a little work this morning. Also, whilst waiting for bl@@dy computers, have managed to do some putting away and wiping down in kitchen, so have a head start on todays list.

Nurse weighed me and I'm down a couple of pounds, and she says she'll check me again after my hols  I hope she was joking. Having said that, we plan do do swimming mostly, and will only be snacking with the kiddies and probably no drinking so won't be too damaging I hope... we go a week on Friday, can't wait!

I managed to clear most of the list before I went for a swim, swam 60 lengths and walked there and back too so at least I am starting to take a step in the right direction to losing some weight! Going out for a walk to get some lunch in 40 minutes so will see what I can do before that.

In my (slightly over) HHC I

Cleared a mini-hotspot (just one item!)
Wiped surfaces and table - they were still clear from when we had visitors yesterday, and the downstairs floors all got hoovered yesterday morning so don't need doing again today :j
Wiped and watered plants
Wiped down all the cupboard doors except the tiny one over the FF which need the stepladder - which is currently upstairs
Cleared out the toaster trays because they spilled crumbs everywhere when I moved it
Wiped over the greasy extractor grille
Somehow managed to trip the circuit breaker :o
Managed to find circuit breaker switch and reset it :D
Got down on my hands and knees to wash the kitchen floor
Made a cup of coffee
:)

Right I'm going to do another HHC!

As soon as I've drunk my coffee, I will do the same.

While I'm drinking it I must:
Email my recently bereaved friend
Ring another friend.
Type up a sheet of notices

Then I've got to
Hang out another load of washing and put some more in the WM
Reset the clocks on the oven and microwave ;)
S&S bathroom
Fresh bedclothes on our bed
Dust the china cabinet and bookcase
Quick brush-and-pan over the dining room floor in case rice salad and/or bakewell tart crumbs found their way onto it yesterday from 3 younger visitors
Clear my desk
Finish putting newly made cards in envelopes
Measure curtain material, lining and header tape and check what (if anything) I still need for our new bedroom curtains - the material has been in the sideboard for over 2 years :o

That leaves the afternoon free for real work! :rotfl:

Hi all. Well, we are back from our holiday and wedding in Spain, back from 33%C and blazing sun to 21%C and pouring rain! Still, it's nice to be home and the cat will second that!

We unpacked straight away and I've been washing and ironing from yesterday, only have a bit to do now.

Thanks for the lists, Juliejim, I'm glad it's the kitchen as that's what needs doing. I'm going to have a HHC in 5 mins, if anyone wants to join me, then it's an early snack for lunch as I go back to work today!

Good wishes to everyone, hello to all the newbies (I'm still fairly new to Flylady, too) and good health vibes to those not feeling well, especially Sammy, you do sound as if you've been really poorly. Good luck with work vibes to Mumto5, too. I do hope it's ok when you go back to work and that you get a nice welcome.

Catch you later, R x

Edited to add, Ionafan, just read your post. How busy have you been! I'm going to have a very steady HHC here!!

Just been to pick up DS2's medicine from the hospital. Cost £3 in parking plus petrol. They have stopped the local chemists from suppling it. Grrr

• I'm looking for girls' black PE shorts age 4-5. I looked everywhere on Saturday and could only find age 5-6.

I'm new at this because it's my eldest starting school this year. Do girls wear cycle shorts for PE at that age, which is what I've seen so far?
