I'm in - gotta sort the hovel - this is the week...

Same here, so I'm in as well. Lots of cooking to do, so the kitchen/dining room is a good place to start as I'll be in there anyway.

DH's contribution to clearing the holiday debris has been minimal and he's back to work tomorrow, but I didn't really expect it to be different.

Tonight I'll do some more washing and sort the meat to be cooked tomorrow. I might find a programme with advert breaks to watch to make myself do some clearing up in the kitchen during the breaks. ;)

Back later with a list for tomorrow.

Hello, I really think I need to join you on this thread as my house is a slum, I have piles of ironing to do, clutter everywhere. In fact my entire house is one big hot spot.

The neighbour popped round earlier when were sitting in the garden and Just the thought of him seeing the inside of the house brought me out in a sweat.

I used to do flylady, and have just gone and shined my sink ready for tomorrow because I am out of the house all morning. I am fed up of chaos and clutter and dirt, and I hope by following the thread it'll belp me on the way and I can have a bit of fun and a 'chat' at the same time.
    Trying to keep in budget.

I'm going to try to be in this week. I have a lot on, and I've just realised I still haven't ordered DD's uniform labels  Plus I need to email people, phone the OU about funding etc. Oh poo..why did I take the weekend off? :o

Mon: DD way until after 4pm
    Tues: Hydrotherapy for DD 1pm
    Wed:
    Thur: Order for work,
Fri: Clinic for DD 10am to see about a doctors note for school & see how she's progressing so I can inform her new school of where we stand.
Sat: DD out with her dad (in theory as this is the norm, but we haven't had a normal weekend all summer:rotfl:)
    Sun:
    Mon: bank holiday

    This week to do:
    • Phone OU re funding for course
    • Phone primary school and see if they would let me be there as a student again. If no answer then email! (They did say I could be a volunteer, but if I was a student it'd need to be done officially.)
    • Phone Mr A to see if my order has arrived. I was supposed to get an email or a text and I haven't but according to the tracking its at the store
    • Order DD's uniform labels
    • Still to buy: school shoes, trainers, lunch box, bobbles
    • Email DDs new school re a chance to go and see someone about her starting in September and her limitations/arrangements for her getting around class plus summer school which starts a week on Tuesday! Hopefully, apart from PE she should be classed as a 'normal' pupil, just depends on how long she needs to stay on crutches for. I'm only concerned as its separate buildings in an old school so there's lots of walking between lessons, up and down steps, but its more the crowds of kids moving around and knocking her that I'm worried about! :o
    • Email upliner
    • Bus pass form to print & submit
    • Passport photos for DD's bus pass
    Mon:

    Mr A shop
    Ironing
    Tidy through house
    Make DD's bed
    Colour on hair
    Bath for me
    Pay CC

Monday - Kitchen & Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and mop/hoover floors
    Level Two
    Clear and wipe surfaces
    Clear and wipe table
    Level Three
    Wipe cupboard doors
Dust a bookcase - are there any books that can go?
    Clear a hotspot
    Extras
    HH Paperwork
Catch up on any phone calls

I can't think of anything else right now. My brain is mushy. :o I should really go to bed but I'm waiting on my phone charging again!

  • Hello all

I'm in again this week, thank you juliejim for the lists and dusty for last week xx

It has been ridiculously hot here so not a great deal done other than washing - and fast drying ;) - and me getting p*ssed off with the bumpkin teens for not pulling their weight  The male one is worse than the female one; he may be super-brainy but he is an annoying little sh*t :o

    Ok here goes this week!

Monday - Kitchen & Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and mop/hoover floors
    Level Two
    Clear and wipe surfaces
    Clear and wipe table
    Level Three
    Wipe cupboard doors
Dust a bookcase - [STRIKE]are there any books that can go?[/STRIKE] books can never leave...
    Clear a hotspot
    Extras
    HH Paperwork
    [STRIKE]Wipe and water plants[/STRIKE] N/A

I'm working tomorrow, as a volunteer, I'm so tired from working thur, fri & sat in a hot sweaty shop and coming home to find no b*gger has lifted a finger... And breathe... :p

Time for bed, methinks. Sweet dreams all xx

I have a house full of beasts again.. by the time they had been here 5 minutes it was like they were never away. DS3's diabetes has been completely mismanaged.. I am giving him a couple of days to see what is happening and adjustings ratios accordingly.

I need to write christmas shopping lists too this week. sacks and wrapping paper ordered already

Is it worth starting the christmas card swaps list soon over on fb?? I toyed with the idea of a secret santa too.. or is that a little excessive? (I saw a perfect fly-gift you see)

    Morning All

I woke up at 4.30 and couldn't get back to sleep so now I've got up - I'll probably be shattered later. Everyone else is still fast asleep so I can't do anything too noisy so I'm wondering whether to start off with paperwork or wash the dishes or just mooch for a bit.

Welcome gien and any other newbies - just jump right in.

Piggers - I'm ready for the Christmas stuff whenever.

Bonnie - go and kick something - preferably the teens!

    Have a good day all

I am in for this week, thanks for the lists and support x

I am going to have a quick whizz around the kitchen and house for 30 mins and then I need to head to the swimming pool. I am the heaviest I have ever been and seem to be lucky that it isn't too visual yet so I am going to try and do something about it before it is!!
