    Morning all

    Thank you, jue.

Another one who didn't sleep well (awake at 5am - that never happens). Made the mistake of going back to bed and promptly laid in.

Breakfasts are done as much as they're going to get done, so I'm going to wake DS1, sort DS2 with some clothes so he can get ready and then quickly wash the freezer drawers so I can switch it on before we go out at 11(ish). With a bit of luck I won't need to ferry cooked food to MIL's. Fingers crossed.

Quick check of the budget before I switch the laptop off and I'll also put the passports in my bag, as I'll need them for ID at the bank. DS2 wants an account. :D

Back later when I can hopefully fit some flying in.

JuliejimThanks for that - I'll do it now.

Ionafan that's a good idea - hadn't thought of that one! It's for just over £200 pounds so it isn't something I want to miss!

I have just walked up to the post office and local shop.
    Cleaned the bathroom.
Dusted all visible surfaces in the lounge.

Hope you're feeling better today, LW. Take it easy, though - I've always found myself totally washed out the day after

Bossymoo - tax credits - we came home from hols to find they've overpaid us £3800!!! (I HATE tax credits) - this is after I'd informed them of DH's job (more than doubling of salary) so am rather peeved :( However, they contact you again about repaying (may take a month or so to contact you again) and then you can set up a repayment plan - when they'd overpaid us years ago we repaid it by monthly DD over about 6 months. Think I might take a little longer than 6 months to repay my £3800, though :D

WM in overdrive again today - need to wash all the sleeping bags (handwash programme with v slow spin) - 2 done, 1 currently in there, 3 more to go (so at least another 3 loads needed - and I now have some 'normal' washing, too) It's dry, but not especially sunny here, so I hope it warms up, as they'll take ages to sry anyway! :)
I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul
    Repaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NIL
    Net sales 2024: £20

Workman arrived at 9 and will be back at 12 so at least I shouldn't be waiting around all day. Got a few things done since I was last on. I want to make a list for the whole house, when I have cleared it I will discuss getting rid of the cleaner with DH.

I have made my list, it looks scary and long but quite manageable I think and if we get going on it should only take a few weeks, we have already priced up the mirrors. The plan is to do all this, get the oven sparkly and then get rid of the cleaner or at least reduce how often she comes.
