Dear Mirela,
Sorry to read your review.
My name is Ash and I work for Protect Your Bubble.
Unfortunately we only cover damage if it stops the normal functioning of your gadget. Cracked screens are covered, but if your gadget has only suffered a scratch or dent, and still works as expected, then we will not repair or replace it.
Kind Regards
Ash

I'd just like to continue this warning about protect your bubble. I took out insurance for my Iphone 5s and they repaired the phone for me, when I accidentally smashed the screen, and returned it in fairly good time. It all seemed positive until a couple of months later when my screen stopped functioning properly - I hadn't renewed my insurance, so I took it into an apple shop where they told me that the screen had been replaced with a non-apple product and therefore they were unable to help me. I rang protect your bubble, and they told me that my repair had a warranty so they would take it back and repair again. Another couple of months later and the screen has stopped working again. Protect your bubble are this time offering to replace the entire phone for me, and it should be delivered today. But I'd expect a repaired phone to actually last longer than a couple of months.
Conclusion - they are cheap because they don't use official apple products for repairs, which just means that your repaired phone is unlikely to function properly for long. I certainly won't be using them again or recommending them to anyone0 -
They exchanged my phone, eventually... however the hone they sent back to me was damaged and faulty.
I then sent the phone back and was told I would receive a replacement in two working days. It has now been over three weeks and I do not have a phone. Everytime I have called customer service they havent even pretended to care. I requested a manager call back but received no contact at all.
They are cheap because they do not offer the service they claim they do. I will be cancelling as soon as (if) I receive my replacement phone.0 -
Also like the obviously fake profiles vickster, kdurds, posting about their good experience with protect my bubble. Brand new users with no other posts at all apart from made up reviews about protect my bubble.
Desperate, dishonest, obvious tactics from an atrocious company.0 -
Gosh. Just read all the comments.
After years of paying for 3-4 items a month to be insured i just had to make a claim about a tablet that isnt working properly. I have obtained proof of purchase from the network and emailed it across. I really hope i dont encounter issues with pyb as that would really make me mad. I have been paying near enough £22 a month for 4-5 years. I will not be happy if they fob me off. This is my first claim so fingers crossed it goes smoothlySerial lurker..0 -
I am now going into the third month of my claim ( stolen iPhone), and have never experienced such awful customer service or treatment. I can see now that PYB is putting up every obstacle possible to reject my claim - constantly asking for the same information in different formats, every person I speak to tells me something different, its a complete shambles and a nightmare! I have made an official complaint to them but all the only response I got back was a very stand off-ish phone call and they haven't officially replied to my complaint in writing, like others in this forum, I am taking my complaint as far as I can since this company is defrauding their customers and should not be allowed to operate. DO NOT USE THEM0

Thanks very much for sharing your various experiences. Strangely enough, I have just purchased an Iphone XR (lucky me!) and was about to take the step to insure phone, Ipad and Iwatch with PYB as Apple Care does not cover accidental damage or theft. For the three items, they aren't so cheap at all and, if the service is as bad as we can see here, simply isn't worth it!
My household contents insurance covers accidental the accidental damage / theft angle but with a £250 excess so I think I'm probably better off sticking £20 a month into my savings account for 18 months and having some money towards my next Iphone!
I am pretty careful so the likelihood of theft or damage is pretty slim!0 -
PLEASE DO NOT USE PROTECT YOUR BUBBLE
I had a jewellery insurance policy and they have tired every trick in the book to not payout on my genuine claim.
Insurance companies are meant to provide peace of mind, and these crook have caused me nothing but stress, anger, and frustration, having to go through multiple appeals and complaints processes.
When I logged my claim I was on the phone for 35 seconds, they took hardly any information from me, then rejected the claim and terminated my policy.
For you own sake, please AVOID.0
