Sorry this is OT, but just got a call from my mum, she has been ill (Ive occasionally mentioned it on here) anyway she called to tell me that one of her her home carers stayed for extra time, and she has managed to get in the bath and had her hair washed! (first time for months, since she fell in May and has been in and out of hospital since).
She was really pleased with herself, Its bucked her up no end! She does have a bath lift, but goodness knows how they managed it, I certainly wouldnt have had the confidence to help her, but they did it!!
There are some fantastic underpaid home carers out there, and mum has definitely got one of them, I said 'tell her she is worth her weight in gold'!
So If you can arrange it please, we need a glitch on shower gel and shampoo now please:rotfl::rotfl:
Might even see if the carer is allowed to take gifts, but I would feel a cheepskate offering wine or lager:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

If you think of it as shoplifting for example (I know it's not shoplifting) you wouldn't walk into a store lift a load of items and walk straight out. You would try to be disgreet and hide them in a bag ect. And that's all folk are saying.
Don't draw attention to yourself.
Use common sense.
Just my thoughts
This is a common misnomer for shoplifters. The most successful (generally the long-term heroin addicts) simply pick up boxes of something expensive and walk straight out. If they delay or mess about they are often caught. I have numerous years experince of this (from the shop side before you ask lol :rotfl:)
As for the other stuff, going in a shop more than once a week draws attention to yourself. Again, coming from a voice of experience. :AI am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I used to do this when I was younger and trying to buy ciggies when WELL underage, I used to walk in the newsagents and go straight to the counter, I wasn't refused once!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Too right, bring it on...... as it happens i have enough of everything else to last a good 6 months, it would be such a shame to make a special trip out to the supermarket just for these........... unless of course i can do it in bulk!!:money:0 -

Did yours print out tiny and did they accept it or did your vouchers come out straight away? I pressed print and the print bit disappeared and the little picture stayed on the screen so I used print from the toolbar and it is sooo tiny. Hope they accept it.0 -
