Think he had to stand on it, I don't think he's quite as daft as he looks;)I think hes gorgeous:o
Went off him a bit when I first saw him smoking & he felt he had to go along with the crowd & use Fcuk in as an adjective but if he turns on Danica I may forgive himI could listen to that voice all day long

Vet thinks she may have an infection, so she's been put on antibiotics. She's been really down, but I guess that's only to be expected. I've been really down myself as I feel heartbroken foe her, but she can sense how I'm feeling and I think that was making her worse. So I'm trying my best to be happy around her and god knows its hard. Really hard.
Hope everyone else has had a good day.
Got loads of catching up to do so might make a start on that.0 -

So sorry to hear this, how terribly sad, I hope your doggie recovers soon xxxxHappyChappy84 wrote: »Prefer to keep in with him. He's the person that would on the phone one minute grassing you up for something trivial then being nice to your face the next.
A woman in the building has been off sick for a while now. I know exactly what's wrong with her as she told me. She hasn't told him as she knows what he's like and it getting to him that he doesn't know. He's a right nosey old git. Just about every time I see him I get "That Tracy still isn't working yet because her cars always there. She's been off too long now and my taxes that pay her benefits" and "Do you know what's wrong with her, she told me it's personal, you would tell me if you did know wouldn't you? I'm sure shes on the dodge with the benefits."
Yep, one of those type...
He's also on the phone/emailing the Housing Association every 5 minutes about all and sundry.
Lovely man, he's obviously got nothing better to do....Update on my phone calls .... and I knew I would get
I rang Alan's pension people and they sent two cheques out, separately, on 21st August. The small amount hit my account on 23rd August and cleared overnight 24th/25th Fri/Sat but no sign of the large cheque yet. Bank say nothing pending and to get pension firm to cancel/issue new cheque. Pension firm say can't do that until 10 working days have passed, so I have to wait until Tuesday next wekk and ring them then if still not with bank. Thing is, I needed that money to get my car on Saturday so, unless it appears later today or possibly tomorrow, I will have to delay getting my car
When I rang about my ESA they said it had been 'pulled out for query' exactly as happened two weeks ago, even though it shouldn't have been, so they are processing today and will get it tomorrow/Friday and it 'should' be ok for next time
Then I rang about my bathroom to be told that it takes 3 to 4 weeks to get the result of the asbestos survey and it is only 3 weeks since they did the survey. I said that if I had been told this in the first place I would not have been ringing up to see what was happening for the last 10 days or so, to be fobbed off. And then I asked how we were told in April that the job was put on Priority 1 which was 'to do within one month' if all this had to be done and it couldn't possibly be done within the time we were told  Plus it was set at that due to husbands condition and he had died before it was done and I am still waiting. For God's sake, the Occ Therapist told us the shower was dangerous and we were not to use it until bathroom was changed to a wet room. Imagine if we had done as he said? No shower since 19th April   I still use the shower, I have to, but have had 2 falls since then due to the 9 inch step into tray and the slippery tray, plus many 'almost falls'
So it is a    day so far
At least the garden is coming along nicely :rotfl: :rotfl:
Sorry to read all of this, but regarding the slippery tray, my bath is too slippery for me to feel comfortable using a rubber mat (it moves about too much for my liking) so instead I lay down an old towel and wet it before I get in, it grips fantastically! As soon as I get out I wring it leave it to dry on the towel rail until next time, maybe something worth trying? No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I can second this works, whenever I wash the dog I put an old bath towel in the bottom of the bath and it stops him slipping:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Just had a phone call from a FB friend wondering why we were in some competition to win a night out. Very unlikely to ever go on a night out with her. Tried to explain that (a) I never realised they would contact her direct. (b) the idea was to win a year's supply of Comfort, rather than the night out. She was totally bemused. At least she rang me first, so I could feed her the right answers to the questions (it is how well do you know your friend type quiz).I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
