3Dogs, I hope your day improves.

I'm now wondering where you are thinking of putting the amtico? Not in the wetroom?

No, the housing assoc will do that flooring :D I want flooring for sitting room, bedroom and hall. I dont want carpet due to my asthma and to make it easier to clean, especially wwith the doggies, so it's a choice betwween laminate and cushionfloor vinyl. Going for the heavier weight cushionflooring, but not rushing into deciding wwhich sort. I would like it done soon, but just getting an idea of cost at the moment ;)

Sorry to read all of this, but regarding the slippery tray, my bath is too slippery for me to feel comfortable using a rubber mat (it moves about too much for my liking) so instead I lay down an old towel and wet it before I get in, it grips fantastically! As soon as I get out I wring it leave it to dry on the towel rail until next time, maybe something worth trying?

Oh, thanks Kadison, and Nikkilala too I see, I will try that next time :T :T

I used to love watching them, still do, until I realised I have so many 'baking' cookbooks that I haven't even tried making things from!:o

With that being said, I have a packet of unsalted butter in the fridge from ages:o so will bake something with that today or tomorrow... pics to follow!;)
I made a banana and raisin cake/tea loaf last night. It's the easiest thing in the world and is best to use whoopsied bananas. In fact, I';m off for a shower (yup, I'm being a lazy mare) then I'll have a slice of it with a coffee when I come back.:D

Just had a phone call from a FB friend wondering why we were in some competition to win a night out. Very unlikely to ever go on a night out with her. Tried to explain that (a) I never realised they would contact her direct. (b) the idea was to win a year's supply of Comfort, rather than the night out. She was totally bemused. At least she rang me first, so I could feed her the right answers to the questions (it is how well do you know your friend type quiz).

I did mine with me real and mse accounts. ;)

  • Morning all - my word you lot were on overtime last night with the chatting. lol Will try to catch up (and keep up:() but will probably need to do a lot of skipping as got to be at work later. I do enjoy it but it does seem to get in the way of other more productive things sometimes;)

Great tips with the towels in the bath - I will try and remember that one for next time I bath the dog

I am not sure about Lorenzo on CBB, part of me is hoping he is just playing a game. I think the gods and mortals task has created a great divide in the house and I am sure it will create a whole heap of trouble

I've got one of those too - think it came from B***erware and its brilliant. My wrists are not very strong for opening jars etc and I keep this handy for when theres no man around :cool:
