OH! pasta, a good one! We have just finished our lst chep pack or Mr Ts wholewheat Penne!
Thats the thing with the other 8 items, even if they are cheapo items I want them to be things that I will use...dont want a cupboard full of 'redundant' smart price items!
Oh just remembered a couple of others, again 'good and useful' store cupboard items
smart price plum toms
smart price chopped toms
:T
Have you had a go at the wine yet? There was still plenty yesterday. I might buy three more red, it was rather nice (compared to the rose) I do like a nice sangria too...oh and mulled wine, I LOVE mulled wine (watered down with cranberry!), well that settles it then, I'll give it another go tomorrow! (will put it with my 30p micemeat ready for Christmas!!)0 -

I agree and we are limited to the single veg/fruit items as our A's as most are pre packed. If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

He called me when I was in Glasgow yesterday (he knows I don't do phone calls but still insists on calling me every damn time, if I don't answer he just keeps ringing) wanting a favour. He wanted to give me £20 in cash and I would then set up internet banking to transfer £20 from my account to his. I told him I was at mums, I couldn't tell him I was in Glasgow as it would have been like the Spanish inquisition and I'd never have got him off the phone. I had to tell him I would be home later as he would have heard me about so he then asked if I could do it when I got in. I had to tell him I had less than £20 in my account after giving mum money for petrol to run me home. He's obviously not happy that I couldn't help and he's making his feelings known tonight. I did have more than £20 in my account but that's beside the point, I'd have to gone and stood in a queue in a bank for 20 minutes to put the money back in my account and I really couldn't be bothered with that carp today, let alone on the best of days.
I hope mum moves soon as it would give me an excuse to try and get out of here too.
Rant over.
Well done for not giving in, it can be difficult saying no sometimes.0 -

Thats right, plus although they have been comparing for me, Im sure I read a couple of days ago that someones APG didnt compare single fruit and veg, she queried it (as it voided her expected APG) and CS said it was correct that her single veg/fruit hadnt compared:eek:0 -

Well I take stuff to the charity shops of course but never really done this before.....might do it some more, specually when theres coupons to get stuff for free!
Thank you for your earlier post F K - it pricked my conscience too and gave me a much needed kick up the bum. A little googling found a place up the road for homelessv16 - 25 year olds who were very grateful for the donation of beans, cereal, hand wash, Lenor, tea bags (petrol voucher offer), Sharwoods meal kits plus other bits. Am now on a mission to get more & spread the word to family. My sis suggested we could take the cereal packs the kids always avoid from the Kellogg's multi pack packs :T:T thank you for making me feel better about myself, helping others less fortunate and clearing a bit of room on the groaning shelves ready for the next glitch :beer:0 -

Evening everyone, not been a good few days. My little lady lost her puppies
Vet thinks she may have an infection, so she's been put on antibiotics. She's been really down, but I guess that's only to be expected. I've been really down myself as I feel heartbroken foe her, but she can sense how I'm feeling and I think that was making her worse. So I'm trying my best to be happy around her and god knows its hard. Really hard.
Hope everyone else has had a good day.
Got loads of catching up to do so might make a start on that.0 -

Dogs are so resilient and she'll probably feel better before you do, but I am thinking of you both. Keep us updated on how she is. :A:A xx
