APG - was £20 from £39 shop (£35 after multibuy discounts)
CA does her thing but coupon no scanning so calls sup. Supervisor says cos value needs to check while apologising for wait. Voucher sent somewhere to get checked (probably on comp). Supervisor keeps apologises and i say no probs, he says never seen one so big and congrats me on getting one. Chat about Tesco, Asda, Morrisons prices. Guy comes back says coupon legit and we all happy.

Price Check - CA says whats this? Calls sup, take me to CS & they decide it fraud. I insist on speaking to manager. He says fraud, asks security guard & they all say fraud. I say put details in comp to check...refuses. After call 2 CS, store told to take the !!!!!!!g coupn as its legit. I happy but annoyed.

Anyway to my main point, Leappad Explorers both pink & green down to £38/£39 RTC instore @ T as well as few other toys. Tempted to buy but will wait til they drop to 75% off if any left.

Sat nursing a bruised knee, arm & ego! Got a tie wrap caught round my ankles in Toscos and went flying down the aisle. Disappointed that none of the 3 staff watching could be bothered to come and see if I was alright!

Oh no, hope your not too bad. Did you get it documented in their accident book?

Evening guys. What a day it's been today  My friends Steve, Andy and Kit arrived from Portsmouth at 9am and I was still in bed, haven't fallen back asleep after the alarm went off :o They'd started work before I'd even got dressed, with Kit doing second coat of gloss on the woodwork, as poor Steve had agravated his bad back and could hardly move. A bit more touching up and then moving the furniture back into place and the clutter, from the cupboards I got rid of, into the bedroom 'temporarily' ;)

It was so like those makeover shows as we kept saying 'what time is it?', 'how much longer have we got?' and 'what time will they be here?' as my niece, her OH and 2 girls where visiting. They had been at Nottingham for the weekend for the 'World Championships' for Jazz/Marching Bands, at which the girls had done very well, and were driving over after breakfast at their hotel to see me for a few hours before driving home to Tyneside. When they arrived at 11.30am, we were sitting waiting in a very tidy, uncluttered and nearly decorated sitting room .................. the rest of the house was a tip though

We had a lovely time, a natter and something to eat and then they left to drive home about 4pm. Steve, Andy, Kit and I then rushed out to the shops for a new curtain rail at B&Q and a bit of shopping at Tosco, then back home and the guys did a little more touching up of the paint, fitted the new rail and got my curtain back up. I need to buy new curtains but the ones I have look ok for now. Then, after something to eat, they started to assemble my bookcase only to get half way through and one of the fixings broke and one of the upright pieces had started to split   Just put everything back inyo the box, taped it up, and they put it in the van for me together with the box containing the nest of tables as I will be taking them back tomorrow for a full refund as the quality is not what I expected for the price  Disappointed, but I want to get the right furniture which will last a long time and be just what I have pictured in my mind, so will get searching again, though this time, whatever I buy will be ready-assembled not flat-pack ;);)

By this time it was getting very late, so I quickly made them some sarnies for their journey back and they left around 9.30pm but they had to return to friend's house near Cambridge for their bags etc, before driving home to Portsmouth. They aren't going to get home until about 1.30am............. and Kit is working in the morning, doing interviews at the college   I can't thank them enough for what they have done for me, especially over this weekend when they could have been relaxing at home - they are wonderful ............ and to think, we met them on the internet, through MSE :j :j :j :j :j

Since they left, I made myelf a chicken caesar salad and then got down to clearing all the clutter which had been put on my bed ................... and that took some doing  . Anyway, all done now, so I will be able to go to bed ok later after a little catching up ;)

I'd be wasting my breath mentioning how another stores higher up personel are now aware of how us savvy shoppers are actively targetting their scheme wouldn't I? :(
