If you don't post in the thread, would you be so kind as to send me any recipes please? I have a slow cooker but I have no idea how to use it. I thought it would be a great idea to set up dinner before I went out to work but I've been too scared to try it! I know this will sound daft but when people say they just chuck stuff in their cooker, how does it cook properly when you're not there to stir/mix?

Chuck it all in, stir it, put it on high for an hour or so if you can to get it to heat up, drop it back to low and leave it. DO NOT take the lid off until you are ready to serve up.:beer:
I learnt that from someone on here.:rotfl:0 -

My last shop was at 17.35 today and thankfully the APG website was back up and running to print out my vouchers. :j

Anyway, it sounds as though you don't have permission to install things. Whoever has the main account on the computer will need to install things.
Also, if Windows is anything like the latest version of OS X then you will need to go in to the settings (don't ask me where) and set it so that you can download/install things from websites other than Microsoft and their trusted developers etc.
If neither of those work then I don't know what to suggest.
You said he did a clean install, did he remember to reinstall flash & java if that needed to be done. If it's already installed as part of Windows has he tried running them to make sure they are activated and up to date?
Thanks Happy
I will check all of the above with DS
I am wondering if he needs to re-install Java as we had a problem with coupon printer on his PC before and i now remember that we had to re-install Java then0
