Best of it was, I hadn't realised my wallet was missing until we found my phone. As I picked up the phone I saw a wallet and though "ooh theres a wallet, my lucky day after all" When I opened it up I felt right sorry for whoever lost it as there was no money in it. Only after I looked at the bank cards did I realise that it was in fact my wallet. Well I was still half blootered.:eek::rotfl:0 -

The last time I fell over I got £5,000;);)I was coming out of the post office a few years back and their was a man taking down a neon sign above the shop. It was really windy and the wind caught the sign and he dropped it, straight on my foot:eek::eek::eek:and it knocked me flying. The post office wanted to call an ambulance as it was really bleeding and I refused, just limped to my car and called MrLala, he went berserk when he got to me because the fella had been working on a ladder on a pavement without barriers or anything.Took me to hospital and I'd fractured a bone in my foot!! On the back of the pamphlet the hospital gave me when I went home was a solicitors number and the hospital after they heard what happened strongly recommended I phone him. I had a month off work and compensation of £5,000.Wouldnt usually have bothered but couldnt drive for months. Some claims are a pee take but mine was legit and I think the firm also got fined for no safety barriers etc.Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

Hi Happy
Windows
What I know about Windows these days I could write on the back of a postage stamp. The last version of Windows I used was XP and we've had Vista and 7 since then, and I think were now on Windows 8?
Anyway, it sounds as though you don't have permission to install things. Whoever has the main account on the computer will need to install things.
Also, if Windows is anything like the latest version of OS X then you will need to go in to the settings (don't ask me where) and set it so that you can download/install things from websites other than Microsoft and their trusted developers etc.
If neither of those work then I don't know what to suggest.
You said he did a clean install, did he remember to reinstall flash & java if that needed to be done. If it's already installed as part of Windows has he tried running them to make sure they are activated and up to date?0 -
