  • More falling stories please folks. The funnier the better :rotfl:

I was on holiday s few years ago and fell into a ditch. Up to my waist I was :rotfl:

    Vicar of dibley styleee

I've fell in to a few ditches in my time. Alcohol may or may not have been a contributing factor. I fell in to one once and my phone and wallet fell out of my pocket and I hadn't realised. We had to drive back along the road the next morning calling my phone. Thankfully the battery wasn't flat.:rotfl::rotfl:

Im exactly the same i sleep with the door on to the balcony wedged wide open - had it open for most of the winter as well, nothing worse than as you say sweating like a pig - even worse when on our hols, have to make sure we have twin beds as can't handle having another hot body curled over me - i do a good enough job on my own getting myself into a sweat without having to deal with another sweaty body :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Can completely relate, I have the radiator switched off all year round in the bedroom and the windows wide open:o

  • I tested my vodka theory with my friend last night. We were both drinking it. She got bitten and I never. I eat curry loads and she doesn't.

Will have a hunt about for some recipes for you if you like? I do them from scratch though, not sure if that's your cup of tea?

From scratch would be perfect as I want to cook up a big batch in the slow cooker (if possible).:beer:
  • Actually, thinking about curry, someone told md once that it wasn't the heat of it that scared away the mozzies but the spices used in them

So it doesn't have to be fiery hot, just spicy :)

The hotter the better for me anyway.:beer:
