I would do jacket potatoes instead of rice if you do chilli. The rice sometimes can go sticky and clump trogether. If you were to do jackets wrap them and cook in foil keeps them soft and keeps warmth in too when serving, have done this in the past for a party and used a hostess trolly to serve from and keep the food hot.
This weekend it's my gransons christening, im doing hot pork and stuffing baps. Cook the meat the day before, slice the next day cover with gravy heat up, then keep hot in trolly again till ready to serve. This is much easier for me than doing cold buffets, i do these regular for part of my job and they can take a lot of time.
If you need any advise on cold buffets pm me im willing to help with any advise i can.0 -

Dont know anything about them except there are six in a packet and 50p each packet. Maybe somebody else would be able to give a better description or maybe even an image.
They could be more than 50p a packet but 2 for £1 iyswim.never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

Hi everyone, I went to ASD@ this morning and picked up some wine, I also picked up 3 of the huggies stater packs and used the new coupons from the ASD@ baby club which have been posted on the coupon thread. The packs are £3 each but it appears to have taken £16.41 off my bill, has anyone else experienced this? The coupons themselves appeared to have scanned at £0.00 then under multi buy savings it states "free huggies kit x3 multibuy savings -£16.41?0

No shades, plenty or grow bags at my local.
On the plus side spent my £19 APG without any probs, glad I picked the SA carefully though. She was really lovely about it, but when she commented to the guy next to her about it he instantly said 'that will be that wine people got' ......eeek!0 -

Do new jeans need to be washed before the firs use? If so, so they be washed inside out or the right way around? Any specific temperature or just as per the instructions sewn in to the jeans?
I always wash new jeans before first wear, otherwise you tend to get blue legs from the dye!
Inside out, on their own or with other jeans (definitely not with lighter colours) and on a 30 or 40 degree wash. No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!
Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target0 -

I wash new jeans before wearing them as it 'softens' the denim. Wash inside out on 30 degreesBorn to glitch0 -
