Thanks for this answer but i can't dig a hole outside it's flagged all round house. Plus i dont drink so no Bavaria or any beer.

Update : I tried to get washer out couldn't budge it :( so mum had said in morning let her know and bro would come if need be he was visiting her. Anyone who knows my bro will know family you normally wait months / years. But strangers would go there and then.

He appeared and it took him ages to pull washer out we have put salt down back and he couldnt push it back in ended up with wheelie bins in kitchen and him sat on floor with back leaning on bins pushing washer in with feet. I had to make sure washer didn't lift up.

Bro suggested i ring council and tell them to come and tarmac gaps inbetween house bricks and path so will do.

Mum said she would be going down in night looking if any slugs in kitchen i told her i wouldn't :D

Slugs are either coming in from outside or coming up from foundations - where the floor meets the wall. A few things you can do

Outside - remove all weeds growing near the property - they feed the slugs and attract them. Take a couple of bottles of Asda salt - the ones that are good for APG and sprinkle them on the outside of the property near the exterior wall. If they could be getting in under back door spread a lot there. You will have to put a rubber draught excluder on to help as well.

Inside - do a line of salt at night along the skirtings - this will deal with them if they come up from founds. Hoover it in morn and repeat for a few nights.

Had this problem myself and this cleared it.

    SpirallingDown,
I met up with a mate's mother last night for a meal and I went back afterwards. He is like a young HC. A lovely, lovely tech genius on all things apple.

Well he was showing me a guide he's been working on for the mac. It is on amazon. It's superb. I was SO impressed.

    Here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/Simple-Guide-Mac-Mountain-ebook/dp/B008OKBN40/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345837171&sr=8-1&keywords=A+simple+guide+to+the+mac

It is the easiest interactive tool I have ever seen. I'm rather proud of knowing him so well :). My little claim to fame!!!!! :A :o

Flash for the iPad? not a chance! Steve Jobs wouldn't allow it and it's been that way since. Flash is so crappy and buggy that Apple didn't want it ruining the iPhone/iPad experience. However Flash does run on Mac computers/laptops and 9 times out 10 when a Mac crashes (which is hardly ever), it's Flash that caused it to crash.

Pretty sure there isn't a version of coupon printer for the iPad.:(

    For 'Copy...

Tap once on a word, then double tap. Keep your finger on the screen on the second tap. A pop up should appear giving you several options...

Select - will select that one word but you can use the grab handles to adjust what you want to copy

Select All - will select everything.

Once you've chose one of the options more options will appear. Select copy.

    ...n Paste'

Go to where you want to paste, tap once to insert the cursor, then double tap, again, holding your finger on the screen and some options will appear. Select paste.

If when you put the cursor in the box and is isn't where you want it press and hold in the area and a little bubble (magnifier) will appear and by moving your finger about you can move the position of the cursor.

Thanks happy. DS will just have to give up his netbook every so often so I can print MOCs.
He can't complain too much though because I've downloaded loads of apps for him onto the iPad so I only get on it when he's got tv to watch

tweets, sorry a bit late with this:o but if you spray furniture polish on the floor in front of the appliance you're trying to pull out it really helps, you just have to make sure and wipe it all up afterwards as it makes the floor really slippy:)

Thank you will remember this for next time :T

Also thanks to all the other people who offered help. :T

If i see anymore slimy marks or slugs in kitchen light will be on til council have been apparently they dont like light.
