Slugs, like blokes , will not turn down beer to get to whatever is in your kitchen.
Thanks for this answer but i can't dig a hole outside it's flagged all round house. Plus i dont drink so no Bavaria or any beer.
Update : I tried to get washer out couldn't budge itso mum had said in morning let her know and bro would come if need be he was visiting her. Anyone who knows my bro will know family you normally wait months / years. But strangers would go there and then.
He appeared and it took him ages to pull washer out we have put salt down back and he couldnt push it back in ended up with wheelie bins in kitchen and him sat on floor with back leaning on bins pushing washer in with feet. I had to make sure washer didn't lift up.
Bro suggested i ring council and tell them to come and tarmac gaps inbetween house bricks and path so will do.
Mum said she would be going down in night looking if any slugs in kitchen i told her i wouldn't0 -

OMG! I have just walked into the room to see my DS aged 4 cutting up bits of paper. It was about 30 seconds before I realised that the paper that he was cutting was my Asda receipts for the wine that we bought earlier....:eek::eek:
I could cry.
I have done my best to piece them back together and DH has bravely gone back to the shop to see whether they can reprint them.0 -
I want one of these!0

Tweets, you can try the beer trick for the slugs with a 2l soft drink bottle- cut 1/3 off, take the top off and insert the top third into the bottom bit (a bit like a funnel). Put beer into the sealed unit and leave out for your slimy guests to enjoy0

Do you think this is a good idea or would parents be really annoyed?xx
Try the cone bags. They look great with a ribbon curled on the top. They look huge but only take the same amount to fill0 -

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's trying to work things out on the iPad, I'm a complete technophobeDH was the one who got the new gadgets, I got them once they were completely set up and all of the apps tried out and shown to me about a dozen times before I'd go any where near it.
I don't think it helps that this is the first apple product that I've used in 16 - 17 years and even then it was a mac that had been in school since I'd started 5 years previous.
I must admit though that I'm quite pleased with it, I've even got it connected to the printer through wifi all by myself
DS is just happy that he now has his net book to himself, unless I need to print a coupon.
Quick question for Happy can I get flash for this? Or coupon printer, can't find it in the app store or maybe I'm looking for the wrong thing. ThanksSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

I am hosting a charity night next week for a little local 4 year old boy, who is fighting cancer. The family need to raise £250.000 to send him to the US for antibody therapy. Some of you locals to me may have heard of the appeal
http://www.familiesagainstneuroblastoma.co.uk/FamiliesAgainstNeuroblastoma_Connor_Whipp.html
The appeal is more so important now, sadly Connor's little friend lost his fight last night:(:(:(
Anyhow,
I have funded so far, purely on donations from local businesses
A venue, comedians, singer/pianist, disco and lots of good raffle prizes.
T's made a donation of £25 for the bufffet and I have £30 in L2S vouchers, which I can use in Iceland, and a couple of apg's totalling £40. I need to make this money stretch to a buffet approx 100 people, although I have yet to sell not nearly as many tickets:eek::eek: and I need to source helium from somewhere:eek::eek:.
I am going to make the buffet myself but am so a fussy eater I would not know what to make and how best to utilise the money I have available.
Could any kind peeps give me some suggestions and point me in directions to vouchers I can print. I was really hoping the price [STRIKE]flop[/STRIKE] I mean drop:D mag would help me this week
Sorry for rambling on, now the event is so close the pressure is getting to me_pale__pale__pale__pale_

I am a bit behind so sorry if anyone else has mentioned. I am sure if you buy any amount of T's packs of rolls on 2 for £1 they compare at 50p at A.
So if you bought 10 packs of 6 total cost £5.00 you would get nice pp for £4.50. Then hopefully a glitch or offer somewhere for fillings. Only a thought. Maybe someone else can clarify. HTH0
