Hi everyone, I went to ASD@ this morning and picked up some wine, I also picked up 3 of the huggies stater packs and used the new coupons from the ASD@ baby club which have been posted on the coupon thread. The packs are £3 each but it appears to have taken £16.41 off my bill, has anyone else experienced this? The coupons themselves appeared to have scanned at £0.00 then under multi buy savings it states "free huggies kit x3 multibuy savings -£16.41?

What coupons did u use initially ?

Someone else reported they were taking £5.xx off as their usual price is £5. I noticed on the SS the voucher comes up as £0.00 but it does deduct £5, didn't bother checking my receipt to see what the actual multbuy amount was as I was looking at the screen total.

The coupons inside - Kleenex Balsam Menthol are £1.19 in my Asda, so 19p with coupon, or if you are feeling brave the single pocket packs are 55p in Ts so 45p off your shopping (SA allowing),also the Little Swimmer single packs can occasionally be found on clipstrips at 69p each, in both As, Ts and Ss (IIRC), so that takes £1.31 off your shopping. HTH.

I saw these in Ts the other night along with the newer version (5004). SEL was £2 so I took both to the scanner. The new version was indeed £2 but the old one as pictured was £1. I never thought to post here as I haven't seen the old style candles in months so figured it was store specific.

It was the coupon for the free huggies stater kit which you get e-mailed to you when you sign up for the ASD@ baby club. I used different computers so could print off three. I had printed them off previously but they have reset.

Thanks yeah found them .... But if like someone said it is taking £5off cause of the voucher then you would have saved £15 overall or £6 off your shopping...after the cost of the packs....I don't know how u got the £16.41 but well done :T:T:T

So after everything u actually got £7.41 of your shopping :-)

I would do jacket potatoes instead of rice if you do chilli. The rice sometimes can go sticky and clump trogether. If you were to do jackets wrap them and cook in foil keeps them soft and keeps warmth in too when serving, have done this in the past for a party and used a hostess trolly to serve from and keep the food hot.
This weekend it's my gransons christening, im doing hot pork and stuffing baps. Cook the meat the day before, slice the next day cover with gravy heat up, then keep hot in trolly again till ready to serve. This is much easier for me than doing cold buffets, i do these regular for part of my job and they can take a lot of time.
If you need any advise on cold buffets pm me im willing to help with any advise i can.

Just had a thought... If I did potatoes, at least I wouldn't need to buy butter lol:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    SpirallingDown,
I met up with a mate's mother last night for a meal and I went back afterwards. He is like a young HC. A lovely, lovely tech genius on all things apple.

Well he was showing me a guide he's been working on for the mac. It is on amazon. It's superb. I was SO impressed.

    Here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/Simple-Guide-Mac-Mountain-ebook/dp/B008OKBN40/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345837171&sr=8-1&keywords=A+simple+guide+to+the+mac

It is the easiest interactive tool I have ever seen. I'm rather proud of knowing him so well :). My little claim to fame!!!!! :A :o

Thanks, I'll have a wee nosy on there later.

We've been invited, last minute may I add, to a party celebrating my cousins DDs exam results. She was quite upset that no one seemed to be bothered that she'd done well even though everyone phoned, texted or left her messages on FB that her mum decided to throw the party even though she can't afford it. She's such a pampered princess that she thinks everyone's attention should be on her at all times, she went to a grammar school and since starting no one's good enough for her. She looks down on even her own mum, she's never happy with what she's got. She tells her mum that the things she buys aren't right for her to let her friends see!
It got so bad that she decided to move out of her mum's and into her grans because she would have her own room and be allowed to come and go as she pleased. She got a shock when she arrived to find that her cousin (who already lived with the gran) had been moved into his own room because his aunt had just moved out.
She realised that sharing with a toddler wasn't nearly as good as she thought and demanded he be put back into his mums room so she could have that room to herself  her gran told her if she didn't like it to go back home! She lasted a whole 3 weeks before she was begging her mum to let her back because her gran had the cheek to not tidy up after HER or pick HER washing up and do it for her.

Sorry for the rant but this brat just annoys me, her mum struggled for years in an abusive relationship and finally left him to do her best for the whole family and now works very hard to support the family but this gets shoved in her face all the time by the brat, her brother and sisters are grateful for everything they get.

Oh and I'm supposed to bring her a gift, my mum was going through my boxes of gifts and asked about taking one of the new body shop sets and DS turned round and told her that they were too good for the girl and that she'd have to make do with one of the ones in the 'under £2' box as he wasn't giving her anything more expensive :rotfl: but as I got everything vastly reduced the set is worth £8 or maybe £10 can't remember now should write the prices down somewhere instead of putting things in a box with the actual price I paid on it

Nope I won't look a gift horse in the mouth, but I wouldn't recomend putting them through with a targetted APG shop again as I ended up paying less than what I got back on my APG! :o
