Alternatively try transposing the two new batteries, if the other one then starts beeping prob battery.... Failing that get hold of a 'pen meter' and check voltage, got one here if you wanna pop down to borrow ;)

I have suggested that but mum is not having it. She says it normal as the downstairs one did for a few days after replacing the battery last time. It's not occurring to her that the only reason it stopped is because the battery went completely flat.:rotfl::rotfl:

I had a pen meter, a blooming good one too that mum bought me for my birthday years ago. The person she sold dads tools too took things he shouldn't have took.:mad:

Just had my Quidco tracking conformation for the Travel Elemis Skin Nourishing Milk Bath 125ml.
    Got £1.16 back on a £1.99 shop.

Thanks to the op on the dark side and MIACAT that reported it over here :)

Thanks, me too, turned out to be an excellent deal :D

popped in to boots, bought so star 50ml at 3.93 got 500 points so my daughter chose hannah montanah, used points so free for hers !:D
the ladies in there didnt know it worked on the cheaper perfumes as well, so started choosing some for themselves

That's interesting. I tried all the smaller 'So?' range instore as the branch didn't stock the large - they were all half price (£2-£4) but SA said the till indicated no bonus points, so I didn't buy!

Maybe I shouldn't have listened to her!

A free smoke alarm, newer ones have batteries in that cannot be changed and last about 10 years. My husband is a retained firefighter and also wholetime in Brighton and they go out most days visiting homes and fitting them xx

Handy to know, but this is one of the ones that's hard wired in to the mains. The battery is only a backup. I doubt they would replace a mains powered one, would they?

Afternoon mummy, yeah, I'm thinking the same but mum's not having it as it's new out of the pack. It is only T's own brand though and they have been lying around for a while...

Funny you should say this, I bought some T's own brand batteries for my smoke alarm a couple of weeks ago - within 1 day the blasted thing was beeping again as if the battery was dead.

This morning was amusing though, it was beeping again - now there's no battery in there (it's connected to mains) so I was thinking why the heck is it beeping? Half an hour of faffing about later I'm thinking this sound sounds like it's coming from upstairs - only then did I look up and realise that we have a smoke alarm upstairs too!! Only lived there 3 years and never noticed! :rotfl:
Anyway, we'll see how long this T's battery lasts.....

Hi, I can't get the beans coupon today, it opens without the bar code showing.

I just wondered, if anyone has got this today, would they mind posting the bar code, to see if it is the same as the coupon valid until 20th November 2012. I am wondering if they have changed the bar code. Thanks IA.

If you put your tongue on the end of the battery if it tingles the battery is ok, if nothing happens its duff;)
