afternoon all, day out at thorpe park yesterday worn out it was very busy but managed to do most of the big rides.
A little help needed if any body can.
My son is after the new fifa 13 game which comes out in a couple of weeks and if you spend 60.00 in sains you can get it for 25.oo if any one has any money off vouchers that need recyling i would be grateful as i do not spend that much in sains tia.
Thanks for heads up on beans they are really nice.:)

Has anyone done this with a games offer before, just wondered if you bought an item of clothing to take up to £60 and then took it back, would it affect the game purchase.
£2015 in 2015 (Although actual goal is £10 a day)

Ours doesn't say that but I suppose I should check that the one minus the battery still works... Hmm... What can I set fire too... :rotfl:

Well I switched the batteries around and all is quiet. I don't know if that's a good thing or not though. Pressing the test button on the one upstairs does nothing so I'm wondering if the alarm itself is faulty.

I suggested setting light to something to test it and mum had a fit.:rotfl::rotfl:

Mummy, you've got mail on FB.
  • Morning everyone :)

Keep an eye out for the big Ariel 38 wash today - bthp offer down to £5.50 ended yesterday, so with an ood sel and the moc you would pay £11 and get £13 back

Couple of wine offers ended yesterday

Linotti Pinot Grigio - bthp £4.49 from £9.99
Ogio Charddonnay and Ogio Merlot - £3.99 down from £7.99

And the Lynx 3 for £5 ended yesterday - so less than £1 for 3 deodorants if you are lucky enough to spot this one

just been to my local and the Linotti has been extended until 4/9/12 (although .com showing it as full price). there's also an rose Ogio to look out for too.

if you see any OOD SELs for flash cotton fresh (both the spray and liquid) ignore as these have been extended.

Likewise the Listerine Total Care 500ml less than half price has been extended (in big dump bins in a couple of stores)

finally the Bold 33's offer at £6 has been extended too

Funny you should say this, I bought some T's own brand batteries for my smoke alarm a couple of weeks ago - within 1 day the blasted thing was beeping again as if the battery was dead.

This morning was amusing though, it was beeping again - now there's no battery in there (it's connected to mains) so I was thinking why the heck is it beeping? Half an hour of faffing about later I'm thinking this sound sounds like it's coming from upstairs - only then did I look up and realise that we have a smoke alarm upstairs too!! Only lived there 3 years and never noticed! :rotfl:
Anyway, we'll see how long this T's battery lasts.....

Don't get me started on T batteries. Do you remember the deal or no deal board game?

We bought one to fill time during the day. I put the batteries in it and left it on the bed upstairs. Went back up stairs and the phone had turned into molten plastic. It had nearly melted itself to the bed.

Rang HO and they offered me £2.50 :eek::eek:

Rang back and said that cost £20 in the end they did back down and give me the full amount on to a giftcard.

the ladies in there didnt know it worked on the cheaper perfumes as well, so started choosing some for themselves

That's interesting. I tried all the smaller 'So?' range instore as the branch didn't stock the large - they were all half price (£2-£4) but SA said the till indicated no bonus points, so I didn't buy!

Maybe I shouldn't have listened to her!

I tried one of the smaller ones So? and it didn't give any points it is the 30ml one so perhaps it is the 50ml ones that give the points, I couldn't find the Hannah Montana one in store to try but I got this online so DD can have that one.

I was being serious, it does work my dad taught me how to do it;)It doesnt hurt, I always do it because I'm lethal for having loose batteries in my office drawer.
Unfortunately DS declined your offer of dinner and I'm not going to argue as he has now announced he's taking up fencing at uni:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I did this once when I was a teenager and never again - it hurt !

Hi, I don't very often shop at boots so not really up on the advantage card. Can someone please confirm if I am right or wrong in thinking that if I buy a perfume for around £5 and get 500 points, in theory it works out free? Thank you. :)

**FK refrains from smutty remarks about battery operated items** :rotfl::rotfl:

Did you not find any of the AA rechargeables with the 1 hour charger in T's a while back? I was sceptical of them as I intended using them in a camera but they will happily take 500 shots between charges and will recharge while I have a cuppa and a sarnie!

Oh while I'm 'here'......did you manage to get any nice whoopsies the other night?
  • My wife's boss has just given her £20 of Tesco petfood vouchers :T She said her dog couldn't eat what she bought it  and didn't want the other vouchers.

Now to plan a big shop for tomorrow using as many coupons as possible.
