    Congratulations - wonderful feeling!:T:T

Has anyone got any ideas for the best price for tubigrip in size E? OH is going to need it for a little while to flatten down the muscle they moved (long story if you're not up with the thread) so looking to buy a fair bit if it is cheap!!

You can get this on 10m rolls, not sure if they come any longer? You should be able to get a scrip from your GP if it is needed post-op, so £8 ish for 10m (sorry, don't know how much a scrip costs now :o). Is that any good? Don't know the cost because when my DS needed loads of dressings/bandages/supports longterm after surgery, he was under 18 so we didn't have to pay for the scrips.

I am not sure of the rules and what counts as one item on a scrip, but could you have say 5 x for the one scrip price?

Tried that - the doc will only give us 1m at a time!! He is going to be in these for months!!!! Crazy as it may seem, looks like Boots is good in the short term, buy 1 get 2nd half price at £3.49, but will have a hunt round town first. We will also have a good look online, just want to make sure we have some spare as they do not wash well for more than one or two goes (even washing by hand and not scrubbing!!).

It should work if there is a LAN connection there?

WiFi might be difficult though as finding a wifi connector that will work with such an old system might be difficult.

A LAN connector looks a bit like the port on the computer where you put the dial up connection cable, only bigger.
Thanks Happy - that's made a few things clearer!

Thats ok, my DD crashed her instructors car. She was mortified. It was the instructors fault as he took her on an icy road.

  • Morning FK. Just realised the person in your Avatar is facing the opposite way to the one I thought she was. It explains a lot:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well I've only just managed to catch up!
After dinner last night I fell asleep on the sofa and then woke up around half 9 and then went straight up to bed.
Thanks for your kind words Wackynut and Lesleyanderson and thanks too QOC.

3dogs - I still have no pm by the way
and congratulations with the car, very nice! I'm sure you know or it's been mentioned before but it is well worth getting GAP insurance.

Oh yes, I remember someone asked the other day (MKS maybe) about how many bzz campaigns people were doing.
Well I've just been invited to do the handy cans one, I'm in shock as I am currently doing 4 campaigns!!

Sorry to hear you are feeling down. Matbe go to a place your grandad liked to go and enjoy the memory and imagine him watching you do it. Might help lift your spirits a bit. Used to help me anyway. (((hugs)))
