They're the temps that DUO are giving me but they take something ridiculous like 20000 temps a day from the sensor you wear and then pick the 'best' temp so as far as I know it can be from any time in the day. I think next month when they mark up my 'fertile' days I'll temp for those days myself so that I have a clue what's going on and don't knacker ourselves out too soon!

Evening all. I'll read back in a minute but I need to have a moan. I am so proper fed up right now.

I've been weeing on OPKs waiting for them to get dark, lining them up in the bathroom, looking out for EWCm. Today It hought there might be a bit of EW but not very much and nothing like I usually get, and the OPKs have lines but not as dark as the control line at all, and I was going to photograph them to ask you all even though I think I've missed it cos I'm CD16 now and I've always had EWCM by today at the latest, and DD has knocked them all out of sequence!



I have no idea what order they were in to show you, I don't know what today's even looked like, and the darkest line I can see is not dark enough according to teh picture on the back of the pack.

So what does that mean? I was hoping to use them in tandem with EWCM and I never got any so I've no clue. Could this be an annovulatory cycle?

And if I don;t get PG this cycle (which I obviously won;t cos we've not even DTD!) then I have to be out for three months cos I don't want a winter baby cos of my PND

Skintchick - sorry you are having such a rotten time. Do opks usually work for you? I know for sure that I am ovulating but I have never got a positive opk and hardly ever seen ewcm.

It doesn't mean your cycle is annovulatory (sp?) it could be the sensitivity of the opk or just that you are ovulating later than normal.

Becca - I have no objection to a new thread. Thanks for all your hard work.

Lilymay - Everyday for 3 months:eek: That would kill either myself or my OH.

afm. Had my weigh in this morning and have lost: wait for it 0.01kg:eek: I know it is still a loss but COME ON!

Firefly, I don't know, I've never used them before. I got loads of EWCM last cycle for a week so I didn;t know when to DTD and we ran out of steam, so I wanted to use some and got Home Health ones from Amazon, but they never looked dark AND I never got EWCm which I always do. But I've never been this late with OVing either (or with getting EWCM which I have assumed equals OVing)

Is there any point in me carrying on POAS? Could I be randomly OVing really late in my cycle for the first time ever?

I hate this so much. I hate TTC, I hate waiting for OV, I hate the whole bloody thing. Every sodding person I know is PG or just had a baby or has a million freaking children and I can't make it happen for me

Sorry, I know lots of you feel this way too, I'm just really really down.

If I was you, I would sign up to a second ff account, do my own temping & see how they match up. Will be Interesting to see if they reckon your temps go up in the next few days then as that opk is definitely a positive (but then you did have positives before so I guess you'll have to see but hopefully with new strips & comparing your own temps you should be able to work it out easier next time! Though hopefully you won't need to

If you've not got a dark line though & you normally get ewcm perhaps you just haven't ovulated yet? In which case keep poas!

Or it's a wonky anovulatory cycle.

Re the post natal depression, did you have this with your dd? Would it make you more depressed now though by not ttc for 3 months? (I don't know to what degree you suffered from it)
I know someone who was suicidal so I'm not playing it down or anything but just something to consider?

I have a history of depression with some suicide attempts (not very good ones!). After DD I was watched carefully with extra visits, and they thought I didn't get it, looking back I obviously was depressed but I'm a high functioning depressive and hide it well.

Winter is my worst time (hence why I'm feeling so awful now) and I think that having a baby during a period of the year when I tend to want to kill myself, would just tip me over the edge.

DD was high summer and I still got depressed, so imagine how much worse it would be in winter.

I can;t risk it. My DD needs a living mummy, not a dead one.
