Have a great time! We may have inadvertantly started an annual tradition of going there since we went last year too! I went a handful of times when I was younger but last year was OH's first trip and he went mental for it! He's already looking at deals for next year to find out how cheap we can get it for since there's no way we can afford to stay where we're staying (here!) ever again! :o

ooo lovely. my mate just came back from staying there and said it was just amazing!! her wee one loved waking up and seeing the animals from the balcony :) xx
  • lilian - OH is taking Wellman conception vits, I think you can get them in Boots.

Birdie - au contrare! I think I am very normal :p

I do eat a bit of chocolate from time to time, but I have a much more savoury tooth than a sweet one.

Give me cheese and biscuits over dessert any day! :rotfl:

Massive congratulations to lemonmelon. Here's to a happy healthy 8 months!

Glad to hear it! OH keeps having little panic attacks about how much we've spent and whether it was a waste and I keep trying to tell him it'll be worth it! :)

I'm a bit of a freak in that I like sweet and savoury together! :p Chocolate and cheese is lovely... will be interesting to find out what my odd pregnancy cravings will be as I'm already odd! :rotfl:
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Congratulations lemonmelon :D

AF finally stopped today, never had one this long before and it was starting to really annoy me.

Spent most of the week hanging around hospitals as my mother just found out her diabetes has seriously damaged her eyes, she's having emergency surgery next week but basically she now has a 40% chance of going blind within the next 4 years.

She's now putting loads of pressure on me to get pg, saying that a grandchild will give her a reason to sort out her health. I'm an only child so I'm her only chance at grandchildren, so the pressure is getting to me a little bit.

Since it's been a bad couple of weeks all round, I'm going to treat myself to a whole day mucking about in PJs and playing playstation games :)

    Congrats on the BFP

I don't post much, as actually stopped TTC for now (:() but I understand why it's so emotive. I get the green eyed monster every time I'm around my SIL who is constantly moaning how horrible it is being pregnant and wondering if they'll cope.

I wish I could get OH to look after his health and take vitamins, I really worry it'll be our biggest stumbling block when TTC.

Not long to chat as im getting ready for work but big hugs time2. Go easy on urself. Hugs to all other cd1s and to Raz. Looking on the brighter side she has a 60% chance of not so hopefully shel look after herself and it wont come2that.

Afm, i think i oved yday. Which is cd10!! Completely unheard of so dont update me yet. However not dtd once as ive bee

  • Tink - Love the Xmas trees. Do you have a target number that you have to make before Xmas?

Claire16c - My last cycle was 46days and we kept bding trying to catch ovulation but I am not convinced that I ovulated at all. FF was as confused as we were.
This cycle I have removed all the cm info I was putting in and the light changed back from green to red so I think I will just stick to temping for now - although I am giving OPKS another try. Gonna pee on them three times a day and hope for some advanced warning of O otherwise we will have to bd every second day again.
I will post more often. I have no-one except you ladies to talk to about this. We are not telling anyone we are TTC and my OH is fantastic but I need a female perspective sometimes.

BZ- 60lbs is an amazing weightloss. Congratulations. Any tips? My OH and I are trying to get into 'peak condition':p but I think my implant and the type II diabetic gene that runs in my family and being a little overweight has helped to make me insulin resistant. Losing weight is a lot harder since I got into my 30's.

Teamlowe & Ktb - good luck at your appointments. My OH and I go to all our doc appointments together. ;)

Lilian - Congrats on your little boy and good luck with project 'sibling'....Episiotomy (ouch!).

Mogwai - Very sad about your friend. You said 90% so is there any hope?

    Lemonmelon - CONGRATULATIONS.:j:T:j Here's hoping to a happy healthy 9 months.

Time2deal - Hugs (and extremely calorific treat of your choice) for cd1.

Razwaz - Sorry to hear about your mum and all the extra TTC pressure but YAY:j for pj days.
Jox - Thinking of you. Hope you are feeling a bit better.
