Can't belivee your OH MV - that is a typical man thing to do. I would have done exactly the same as you.

Afm, been getting crampy type pains in my tummy so think they might be oiv pains. I'm all confused this cycle so will deffo get the opks out for next month. After our rubbish BD the other day, OH has promised me a full BD tonight. A bit late for ov i think, but no harm in practicing.

Has anyone got any snow?! I've been so cold today just cannot warm up. Normally I like snow, but don't fancy it this year. Should probably get DD a snowsuit in case we do and they all run out !

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Well I got a super faint OPK last night. I hope they start getting darker, and I've caught the start, rather than the tail end and I've missed my chance. Pretty sure my cycle has shifted forwards 4 days but I'm terrified I've missed my chance.

(For any new people, I was NTNP for 4 years with OH but he's never managed to produce anything (retograde ejaculation). We don't qualify for IVF on the NHS and can't afford it, so we're going ahead using a donor to help us - but it means travelling an hour and staying away from home for 3 days so I can't just go whenever I *think* ov might be).

ok... here's the latest installment in the ongoing work saga (brace yourselves lol).

At the moment I work for dept A, and also do some work for dept B. B are all lovely people, and I enjoy working with them. Part of the argument with my boss has been about the split of my time, as she reckons it was never agreed in writing (before she even started) and that I shouldn't be working for B at all - even though it's in my contract and B pay me. Although it's technically one overall company, they're all set up as separate.

The HR people who look after B spoke to me this morning and have said they'd like me to continue doing the 2 days a week I currently do for them, as a temp. There's a potential full-time, permanent job in May, but they can't increase their headcount just yet.

I still get the redundancy payout, and have 2 days a week from jan in a job I already know (with a 5 min commute). Which gives me some income (always better than nothing) and the flexibility to work around ICSI.

Plus as it's temping I don't have to be making anymore big decisions just yet. I can get the ICSI out of the way and then we can plan depending on the result of that.

I think the nicest part of the meeting was that HR lady B said they really didn't want to lose me, and that dept A had treated me really badly. After the battering my confidence has taken lately that was lovely to hear.

    Hey TL,

That sounds positive. And nice to be appreciated - and probably a validating to know your other boss was in the wrong.

It does feel like the best compromise for you, but part of me thinks you should go for the other job interview as well. You don't have to take it, but it gives you experience and maybe shows you that there are other options out there.

    Tough choices!
