  • QQ, still thinking of you today and sending my best wishes (and I save the 'best' wishes only for important things)

Tinks I love that thought and the one about not giving up on something you cant go a day without thinking about

Abis... Thanks for updating the lists
I am back to CD1 today - the wicked witch caught me again!

This month I have a CBFM gadget to use so my inner geek isnt too diassapointed to see AF appear.

Cracking open the chocolate and a little retail therapy on Amazon maybe.....

Thanks for doing the lists abis.

Qq still thinking of you hope you are doing okay!

Need someone to wag a figure at me or slap me- whatever works.

CD30 for me and no sign of AF, I am a regular 25-29 day cycle but normally 27 and even in the longer cycles I would know AF is on the way. Tested yesterday BFN not sure whether to test again or leave for a few days. Feeling nauseous and beginning to think my head is playing tricks on me!

Hello ladies, I hope its ok to post here. We have a DD who has just turned 2, and always said that was the point that we would try for a second. I really want a second, and feel that the time is right for every reason other than that I haven't lost the weight I put on with DD. I'm bigger now than I was when I fell pregnant with her and I was overweight then. Is it a terrible idea to get pregnant while overweight? (talking 5 stone or so over, not just a little :( )

smiley_hug.gif for CD1 Rumfeeble. Fingers crossed for the CBFM next month tho

Tink - Holidays are coming :xmassmile The coke advert has been on telly now!! Yayyy :D

LaoCat - I am so feeling your pain. I am CD40 of a supposedly 28 day cycle (based on +ve OPKs) with no sign of either a BFP or AF. Confused and frustrated do not cover how I am feeling this month. :o

Isca - Hello and welcome. I think to be honest if you wait for the right time, you may be waiting a long time. I waited 2 years to TTC due to money issues, which was obviously the right thing to do, but now its taken over a year and I still aren't pregnant, so in some ways I kind of regret waiting and being sensible :o I did get pregnant, but sadly miscarried, and have put on over 2 stone since then comfort eating. I know my BMI probably won't be helping my chances of conceiving :o I have decided to join slimming world, and my friend is going to come with me. I figure if I can lose weight whilst still trying, and by eating healthily then its a good thing. I aren't in to fad diets etc. But I do want to be healthy during pregnancy too as much as possible. So if it was me, I'd start trying now for a baby, but also start working on the weight via healthy eating and increasing exercise and just see how you get on. Good luck :D

AFM - I have got DD back now from her dads, and told her the news about the guinea pig. She took it a lot better than I thought. Only 5 mins of sobbing this time as opposed to 2-3 hours last time. Phew! :o
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

Really hope you are ok QQ.

Nothing to report on 7dpo, but obviously there won't be. Bit crampy, but I'm always crampy around now.

Been with my friend to a craft afternoon where they taught us how to make christmas stockings (we already knew how to but it was a free class). Have done one for hubby's cousin's baby, with his name on. Got home to discover I've only gone and spelt it wrong. grrrr.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Been thinking of you QQ x x x

Abis thank you for doing the list :)

Isca welcome, as Abis says i really think it's a personal decision. The statistics say there are higher risks involved in getting pregnant whilst you are overweight - both to you and baby. But its your and your partner's decision if you are prepared to take that chance. Over a certain BMI your PCT will want to monitor you closely - in my area it's a BMI of over 40. They'll give you scans every month to make sure baby is not getting too large (there's increased risk of health problems with large babies apparently) and you'll be tested for gestational diabetes.
Both my sister and one of my best friends have both had beautiful healthy babies in the last year with BMIs over 40 (which i only know because of the monitoring they got)
I don't mean any of this to sound harsh, my BMI is over 35 and i'm trying desperately to get it down whilst trying desperately for a baby

AFM looks like i didn't Ov over the weekend, booooo :( just got to hope it's coming up, which as my temperature is uber low i'm hoping it is, looking at past charts it got down this low before Ov in past months and i'm sure i read that it's estrogen that makes it low so hopefully i have lots of that surging around telling the egg to get on with it already :) x x

    Rumfeeble hugs for CD1

@ICSA I wouldn't say it was a terrible idea but AKAIK additional weight can make ttc harder and can cause complications. It could be a good opportunity to lose weight while ttc? That way you hit two birds with one stone! Bigzippy on her has lost a lot of weight recently she is a real inspiration!

@tinkwings you are soooo talented love it!!
