Told hubby we would dtd once more for good luck, but given it as good a stab this month as possible so onto the 2ww now. Except he's now gone out playing pool with his buddies.
He's got the rest of this week off work though, but we've got a few busy days. He's applying for another house this week so fingers crossed, but is moody about the amount of deposit they want, £1000! but that's because of our ferrets so I can understand. Just wish we would do something exciting together though when he has time off, it's always for paperwork. Think he decided to take time off to support me at my first cbt session so I don't have to drive home, which is rather sweet. Just wish it was time taken off for baby scans etc though. Oh well hopefully next year.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Hi Babymakers! I have just come across this thread and thought it'd be nice to join in - I've only read the last page so far but will read more after posting

Me and DH have been 'leaving it to chance' for a year now and nothing yet, I do a pregnancy test everytime I feel 'different' but that's the only active thing we've done to get pregnant - aside from the obvious ;)

In the new year I think we're going to be moving more towards properly trying. I'm 32 and the clock is starting to tick! I think I know when I'm ovulating based on physical signs so more effort to BD at that time needed. I also need to lose weight as I'm technically obese, I've lost 7lb recently but that doesn't really cut it. Our high stress levels have recently dropped slightly so hopefully that'll work in our favour too

I've been really surprised as when I was a teenager I got pregnant rediculousy easy twice - I hope I don't upset anyone by saying I ended my pregnancies, but I was very young (14 for the first) and incredibly irresponsible - and now I want to be pregnant it's been a whole year and nothing!

Anyway, I look forward to sharing stories and wish everyone the best of luck and many many BFPs!

welcome abailey- your signature says ange so i'll use that in future :) are you going to use anything to pinpoint Ovulation? you don't have to, research shows using OPKs/temping/etc is no more successful than having fun every 2-3 days througout your cycle. but i find it makes us less (more?) crazy over it all if we know where we are in our cycles.

speaking of which (and the aforementioned TMI) after last (two) month's anovulatory cycle, i was enthused by the bits of EWCM i had. but now they seem to have gone and it's like, opaque and stretchable but springy. is that normal for before Ov? just want someone to say yes stop panicking lol
course, there's nothing i can do if it's not normal, apart from call the gynae and ask them to increase my metformin dose again but i don't know if i'm comfortable with that cos if it doesn't work then 2000mg of something is a lot to have for no reason.

If i'm having a 42 day cycle i'm not due to Ov until next weekend anyway so i should just relaaaax and stop being a panicking ninny like i always am x

Hey :) I've recently had my appendix out so haven't really been trying yet but starting to feel better now. Saw my endocrinologist today as i have a pituitary tumour and he says I should be using ovulation kits to see if I'm ovulating. Haven't officially tried to get pregnant yet due to previously mentioned surgery, wondering if it's too soon to worry about these yet or if I should be testing already??
