MV - did your friend respond to the question on FB?? I guess she would just think you were joking anyways.

I think the facebook thing is hard. When I get my forever baby, I want to tell people about it. I don't want to not post anything for fear of upsetting others, because I have had a hard journey too. To be honest - I want that weekly app thing that tells you how many weeks you are and what the baby is doing inside, maybe I will create a different set of rules on who can see that kind of information tho. I have deleted a couple of people for being pregnant, but to be fair I wasn't that good a friends with them anyways so I doubt they would notice. I have managed not to hide anyone thus far tho.

T2D - fingers crossed for the SA results

Lemon - Thank you for the crossed fingers. Not gonna test for 2-3 days again and just see what happens. Its just annoying when you think you know whats going on and then it all changes again. Hugs for low PMA. I've been really teary today too, but lack of sleep is to blame for that one. I am now not feeling well at all and DD was at her dads last night for bonfire night and she was poorly - so looks like we all have a bug :( I feel really shivery and cold, but my head is burning up. Had a nap earlier but still feeling rubbish. Just hoping I will be well enough for my craft fair tomorrow cos I have put a lot of hard work in getting things ready :o

Vic3 - temping is quite easy and you soon get in the swing of it. Its not so good if you have a different waking pattern or disturbed sleep tho as you probably won't see the pattern in what is going on that cycle. I think I am going to start temping next month again as I have zero idea of what is happening with my body this month.

Onlywayisup - fingers crossed it gets results for you this month :D

Pommeverte - AFM stands for as for me. The abbreviations take a little while to get your head round, but now in RL i tend to use abbreviations more than real words. Like AF, BFP, TLP, BD, OPK etc - I always use them when talking to DH about it all. And on facebook I sometimes have to stop myself writing about DH in my status and actually call him by his real name :rotfl:

Hubby has just said he wants me to stop the ov tests for a couple of months as he's fed up with BDing when we "have to" not because we want to. He wants to just BD regulary throughout the month and not more at the peak time.

Feel abit sad as we generally only BD twice a week ish, so will more then likely miss the moment, but I do understand what he means as it has taken the fun out of it and at times we've BD when we really don't feel like it, but felt we have to as timing is right.

Aww, loulou, it kind of sucks, but then its also good that he has come to you and spoke about it. I took the same decision as your DH this month cos it was getting a bit too forced and not enjoyable, which then led to it taking a lot longer than normal, which then didn't actually add to the enjoyment. We're kind of a 2-3 times a week couple too normally. Fingers crossed we can still both get a BFP

I am really fed of facebook too! Yet another announcement last night, must be something in the water round here, I need to find out!! That makes a total of 10 of my friends who are currently pregnant.....

OH just made me a cup of tea without me asking, maybe my luck's in tonight ;)
  • Loulou - i agree with Abis that it's good that he spoke to you about it rather than him not saying anthing and just getting more and more wound up. You will secretly know when you're likely to ov by looking out for the signs though !

MV - i am feeling optimistic though as we did BD at the right time (CD11 and CD 12), with ov on CD13. I don't have the normal sore chest though which is odd, but probably not a good sign so i'm not pregnancy ss honest! A part from that, i feel completely and boringly normal. A nurse on my ward was telling me how she didn't realise she was pregnant until she was 3 months gone when she took a test, she said the only symptom she had was 3 missed periods so it didn't occur to her to test.... i was like... errrr DUH isn't that the most well-known symptom ever!! But obviously i just nodded along politely.

    Apple pie - here's hoping ;) !!
  • toothfairy - you're not out yet then :) Fingers crossed AF stays away

abis - actually a few of her friends have posted comments about her attitude to the whole pregnancy. She's pretty thick skinned though, and it doesn't seem to bother her.

Lou - my OH gets fed up with the whole BD'ing to order thing too. It's difficult though as you don't want to miss out on the right times.

Our poor cat is really stressed out this evening with all the fireworks. She looks like a hunted animal and can't find anywhere to get away from all the bangs :(

I wish people would knock the whole fireworks thing on the head after Bonfire Night. It's horrible for animals and it doesn't help in getting a toddler off to sleep either!
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

QQ - you say one can have ewcm mid 2 ww ?? how come ??!!
It's because one has a little estrogen surge mid 2ww. Don't know why though:p Estrogen surge lowers temps which can coincide with a temp dip if you temp:cool:

DH said the same thing and as DH is once a week man (or more like once 10 days). We missed our chance last time I ov'd:mad:
Don't understand why DH was disappointed when AF arrived:huh:

Why can't he understand one needs to BD at the right time to have a baby?

Thanks everyone for kind words, I will still be secretly keeping track of ov I just won't let on to hubby I can pretty much judge when it is as know body so well!

Just came as a shock I guess as he just announced it whilst I was cooking dinner, but now I've thought about it I know he's right and it was all feeling a bit " forced" maybe if we relax with it all, we will have more luck.

Our cats been on edge due to fireworks for days now, its so horrible seeing them upset, I think they should only be for displays and the public can only buy and use them on 5th November and that's it...

Cup of tea was just a red herring......I'm in bed sulking and he's fast asleep next to me. Said he was too tired unless it was a smiley face, so I snapped back that if he didn't want to then it didn't matter if it was a smiley face or not.
Think I'm due to ov fri or sat so he better not be tired tomorrow!!
