Should OPK's be left on the radiator? Could the heat damage them?If at first you dont succeed, try, try again0

Hugs Rumfeeble. I think some people are so caught up with their own excitment they don't realise they are being hurtful towards others. And then they say something like 'lets be bump buddies' - yeah cos thats all it takes right?! Pfft. Just ignore me. Feeling sorry for myself at times at the mo. One of my good friends told me very tactfully that she is pregnant, but it still stings even tho I know she had been trying for a while too. I feel like I am being left behind n all forgotten about in the corner sometimes
TL - How do you know that you didn't ovulate? Sorry if thats a dumb question, but I wonder if I haven't this month what with lack of AF and BFP - but how do you know? I got positive OPKs? I wasn't temping tho this month. Gonna start temping next month so I don't have this confusion again. I think afternoon or evenings are best for doing OPKs so I would say after work would be fine for you. Fingers crossed the new batch of metaformin are the magic ones :cool:Married my lobster in July 2011

Abis, I know what you mean.... I feel like the bumps and babies brigade are some sort of elusive club that I am definately not part ofIf at first you dont succeed, try, try again0

rumfeeble the heat may damaged them, it's not the cleverest place to leave them, it's just next to the toilet so a handy place to put them down and forget to pick them back up again!
Abis i got up to CD60 i think with no post-ov signs apart from the ones in my head, so i took noristhisterone (much to DH's disgust as i didn't visit a doctor first, just used some left over from last time i needed it) my cycles are naturally all over the place with the PCOS, although it has been worse since the mc. is this the first month you've had trouble with yours?Little Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Afternoon ladies,
Hope you are all doing well.
Abis - Big hugs for feeling left behind. I am very lucky in that I don't have anyone close to me that is trying (or likely!) to get pregnant. Having said that, if anyone I know does come and tell me they are with child it'll really knock me for 6.
Rum - I don't know about whether or not heat can damage OPK's but I would imagine they would still work?
AFM - I ran out of OPK's 2 days ago so don't know if I am still surging :S My temps seem to have gone up a bit so FF thinks I am 2dpo today. I think I am going to stop using them after this cycle until I get my clomid prescription. But of course, I am going to get pregnant thanks to the HSG so none of that will be needed....! (gotta love an optimist!)
Does anyone have any nice plans for the weekend? DS has chicken pox!

This is the first month I have no clue what is going on really TL. Before the miscarriage I ranged from 31-43 days in length after coming off the pill. Think it took 6 weeks to get a period back (which with the molar pregnancy is really quite quick) and they have been fairly steady, getting shorter, so I think it was 35, 32, 31 and then with getting a +ve OPK on CD14 I thought maybe a 28 days cycle was gonna be coming.
I am a control freak, so don't like being out of control of what is happening. I had EWCM on CD14 as well as the +ve opk, but the opk's continued to be positive until I stopped testing around about CD21-22 cos I was just wasting sticks really. Maybe I should do another ov test instead of a pregnancy test??
If I had taken soy or anything else to alter my cycle length I would have been fine with it - but nothing has changed. The time I had the 43 day cycle I was under loads of stress around ov so I could understand that one being so long. Don't think we've BD'd for 5 days or so due to illness etc, so if I am late in ov'ing then I don't think I'm in with a shout.
Lilymay - Its really hard. I do have a couple of friends trying, and my sister is also going to try soon when they decide what to do about a sperm donor etc. I really really really hope to be pregnant before then thoMy friend was so lovely and tactful but I still cried for ages afterwards. I saw her at the craft fair yesterday but couldn't bring myself to ask any questions about it. In fairness tho, shes not 12 weeks yet so its not public knowledge so I also didn't want people over-hearing who didn't need to know. I also had a cuddle of my hairdressers baby who is 12 weeks old yesterday too - does nothing for the ol broodiness levels. There was a few times when I could have just burst in to tears yesterday - specially as I was feeling ill and over-tired still
:(
Fingers crossed for the BFP this month, but nice to know that clomid is coming next month to help you if not I think? It always helps me to have a plan in place for the next month I think... Booo for chicken pox thoHow is he doing? My DD started really well with it and then got ever so poorly with temperature spiking. She had it when she was 8 months I think? Awful feeling when you can't help them as much as you would like to
MV - Not sad at all. [STRIKE] or if you are sad then so am I...[/STRIKE] Good to have new plans I think. Onwards and upwards n all that...
Atton - I've been freezing this week, but had some sort of fever/bug thing going on. Illness does definately effect temps tho so FF might not be very reliable this monthMarried my lobster in July 2011
