Trying for a Baby Part 8

Hi everyone,
Sorry I've been AWOL recently. Trying to keep a low profile and also been busy with what not.
I havn't had time to read up on the last million pages so I will just say congratulations to anyone who got a BFP
Quite a lot has happened for me in the last few weeks. I am now officially unemployed, but as you know my final weeks at work were horrific. It didn't get any better and I am now just very happy to be free of it all.
My hospital notes also arrived a few days ago. They threw up some pretty disturbing things that I didn't know, and confirmed other things I had suspected. Currently trying to decide whether OH and I are going to take legal action so it's all pretty serious. Aso found out just how ill I was after my c-section...very worryingI am now more convinced than ever that I am unable to conceive because of some unresolved issue with that.
Took Soy this cycle..a massive dose...in the hope it would make me ov early and I would get a positive test by CD19...heh. Gave me horrible horrible headaches though so I won't be taking it again. If my HSG is clear I will be getting clomid anyway so I just have to wait and see. To anyone who has had one...how long did it take for a follow up appointment with your consultant after having an HSG?
Hope everyone is well and good anyway. How many BFP's have we had this month? Am I winning again?

Lilym I think I already had an appointment booked in for the follow up before my hsg was confirmed - but mine was an awkward case and I don't think that's normal. They tend to have booked you in for an appointment for x time after the first consultation, when they think all your tests will be done by, rather than for just that specifically. Having said that, they tend to tell you there and then what the outcome of the hsg is.
Good luck with it, it's nowhere near as horrific as I worried it might be, but my advice is to take a sanitary towel with you (and firefly) to catch the dye and any bleeding afterwards (they don't recommend tampons for this) and take an ibuprofen half an hour before your appointment
Jovie - the first wee of the day is better for pregnancy testing, rather than testing in the evening

Nice to see you Lily May, but I'm sorry it's not a happier update. Glad you're finally shot of the bad workplace, good riddance to 'em!What went wrong with your c-section to cause so much worry now? It's very bad that you are only finding thing out about it now, a year later!
Hey BZ! Hope you're doing well! I was lurking on the 12m+ thread and saw that your OH got a promotion, great news! :T

Has anyone seen the thread about insuring yourself against pregnancy?! As in, actually wanting an insurer to pay out for childcare/loss of earnings in the case of an unwanted pregnancy! Amazing! It's about time the Gods of Fertility sort themselves out and only hand out babies to the people who actually want them!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
OMG Birdie! I am just reading that thread (got to the end of page 1). Oh dear....
Lily, glad to see you back but sorry things have not been so great for you. I hope you get some answers and this in turn provides your next BFP. We miss you here

birdie that thread is madness. someone who doesnt want to save or plan, just hand money to someone else and probably never see it again. that kinda sums up a lot of the things that are wrong with this country at the minute!
no forward planning and no will to save as you go for a rainy day
