Elsie - when I do ov, it tends to be quite late in my cycle (around CD22 onwards). I used soy to try and bring this forwards but obviously didn't research it enough and it messed up my cycle that month. It's so frustrating isn't it, as it just extends your cycle. Booo.

I think it's ok to a certain point. I've got a unrelated drs appt next week so I'm going to bring this up while I am there. I've also read mixed things. x

I'm a late ovulator too. I have managed to bring it back to cd 15 - 17 through lunaception. I keep the bedroom pitch black by covering up clocks and blackout curtains. If you dont want to go this far you can use a sleep mask but they never work for me. Then cd13-16 I leave the curtains open. Its surprising how well such a simple thing works and I know some of the ladies in here have had success with it.

That being said it takes 2 to tango. My ov is holding out a bit. We dtd on Sunday and I hoped that might be enough but DH got some possible bad news about his job so wasnt in the mood last night. When he gets stressed he cant eat so there's no chance of anything else. He's away for work on CD17 so if I ov today his swimmers might still be alive, otherwise I'm out this month. If the problem is what he thinks it is, we'll have to stop ttc as we'll be reliant on my wage.

Sigh. One more cycle then I can conclusively say that wishing on Christmas stars doesn't work

That sounds good code. Might give that a try if I ever get to CD1 (cor I'm such a drama queen at the mo ;) )

Sorry to hear about your OHs work problem, I really hope it resolves itself xx

I asked the gynaecologist when i went (I ovulate cd28 for a 42 day cycle) and she said it didn't make a difference at all, just takes some women longer to get a dominant follicle
I try not to look at what the internet tells me is right as it's usually wrong! lol x x
