Trying for a Baby Part 8

What really matters is your luteal phase (time after ov until af arrives), i think i'm right in saying it needs to be at least 10-11 days long for the fertilized egg to have a chance to implant and send out the hormone which stops your af. Correct me if i'm wrong though as my anatomy lessons are a long way off now, but this thread is good for refreshing my knowledge on the reproductive system at least!0

Purcy - so sorry for your loss.
Atton - you look lovely and you have beautiful hair.
Elsie - I O anywher between cd17 and cd32. There are lots of pregnancy charts on FF for ladies who O late. But if you O late then it is probably harder to get the timing of bding right.
afm. cd1 for me today. I am not so upset this month as I have a second appointment at the fs. Unfortunately now I have to book the HSG test - not looking forward to that.0 -
Hugs for CD1 Firefly.
I hope there's no problem with OVing late as I OV in the mid CD20s, and my LP is only about 10 days
Congratulations Atton!
So sorry to hear your news Purcy.
I've got a good feeling about this cycle... but trying hard not to put too much pressure on myself because I'll be gutted if it fails! I just think if we can't concieve whilst on holiday, super relaxed and BDing loads, when the heck can we?!Can't afford another holiday!

*Hugs* Firefly! Hope everything goes well at your next appointment.
I'm pretty sure I OV'd at CD20 or 21 this month and got a BFP at the weekend so hopefully that means it doesn't cause any problems for those that OV later in their cycle!
Good luck for all the holiday BDing Birdie!Fingers crossed this is your month!
So sorry to hear your news Purcy! I am feeling really apprehensive as it seems so often they just don't stick and there is nothing you can do! *hugs*0 -
just cos i'm bored, i've just searched 'charts like mine' on FF with an Ov day of CD30 for pregnancy...

Birdie - I am so excited for you! Have Disney on my twitter and it's amazing what they are doing to Fantasyland. You are going to have an amazing time - hopeful for you that it will be your last child-free holiday!
Right. I am actually a mentalist. I have no clue what is going on with my body so this afternoon I did a IC pt and also an OPK at same time. OPK was positive. PT has a definite second something on but it's not a red line. I've just checked it again and it still looks exactly the same. Could I have done it wrong if control line is there?First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Could it be an evap Becca? Never had one so not too sure?! Maybe try again with FMU! Fingers crossed!
God, how did I not realise that I ought to be following Disney on Twitter! Will remedy that tonight!Fantasyland is in a 'soft opening' right now apparently so I hope we'll be lucky enough to get a look at it, we'll have to get chatting to the cast members to find out when we can get in! :T Eeep I'm sooooo excited! Already warned OH that the first thing I'm buying is a pair of Mickey ears! :rotfl:
