    Hey Zippy

Nice to see a face I recognise :). I sometimes lurk and feel completely out of it because I don't recognise anyone. I've started lurking on the baby threads because that's where everyone I remember currently resides :o.
I can't cope lurking on them, I'm mainly on the 12m+ thread these days :o
Gosh, another ramble of a post :rotfl:

How are things with you and OH?
I know what it's like to have everything be about the weight. It doesn't help at all. Even my anaesthetist was drivelling on about how my "aches and pains" (he doesn't believe in fibromyalgia or hypermobility, apparently *rolleyes*) would be better if I lost weight - so I pointed out that I'd lost 4.5st already and it's made no difference to my symptoms! So then he said (this is all directly before my laparoscopy btw) that losing weight would help my fertility. I don't know how I was quite so calm in my reply that it would do beggar all for my blocked tubes though!

I'm recovering from said surgery, and dh got a promotion last week, so at least we've more chance of financing the IVF now! ;) How's the house?

I'm using the clearblue digital ov tests and yesterday I got my first smiley face :) did I little dance when I saw it:dance: and we dtd last night.
My periods since coming off the pill and become more regular have been 28 days, then 34 days, then last one 36 days and I got the smiley face on CD16 which I thought would be too early :undecided
I stayed lying down for over an hour but then really needed a wee, so hope that some swimmers managed to hang around!
    Fingers crossed....

Love the cardi Teamlowe, I've nearly finished the one I'm doing for Hubby's cousin's impending baby boy. Just got to finish the trim on it and put the winnie the pooh buttons on it, I've got.

How is the best way of asking the doctor about getting tests done? I'm not really sure what to do. We have been trying well over a year now and think maybe it's about time to ask some questions. The only problem is that I am on antidepressants at the moment due to current problems, so very much doubt that they will help. The depression has nothing to do with ttc though, and is due to a problem I have in my life, once the stress of the problem is gone, hopefully I will be ok.
I don't mind waiting for help, but I don't know when would be a good time to ask. I can see the depression being a problem when it comes to getting help.

Don't think I've explained myself very well. Sorry
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

I've been on and off Anti-depressants since I was 4 years old, and my GP didn't mention it being a problem when I asked about fertility help, only that I was currently too young to get NHS funding. I'm currently on them, but due to come off in a month or two, as I only go on them for 6 months at a time.

    Morning ladies, happy friday everyone!

CD1 for me, I was expecting it so I'm ok but must admit I'm a bit confused as it means it was 27 day cycle. Last month was 28 but before that I had about 4 cycles of around 32 so not sure why it's getting shorter??

I'd like to meet him and voluntarily dislocate my shoulder in front of him just to see if he thinks it's normal. I haven't been diagnosed with hms but I think I have it. I definitely have generalised hypermobility (9/9 on beighton scale) and some joint pain.

I finished off a little matinee coat yesterday - then covered the sofa with baby blankets, jumpers, cardigans and hats and just stood there looking at it all. OH may have now realised that I have officially lost it.

In good news.... this is my last day in the office for TWO weeks :D I can't keep the smile off my face :rotfl:. Am on leave next week, then a course the following week (so a week of hotel food - yum!)

When I get back to work there's only one week till the move - scary times!

11dpo and have now convinced myself that a complete lack of symptoms is a symptom in itself. QQ, I will wave the finger at myself as I know you're busy :o:p:D.

Happy Friday girls! :j Hope everyone has nice weekend plans. :)

    Hugs for CD1 Apple*pie and Angel :(

Big hugs for Becca, sounds like you had a rough day yesterday. Try not to get too worked up with your OH, he's just a typical man and has no idea what to say to make you feel better. :o

Good news that the bleeding is easing MV, hope it stops today and you can stop putting money in Mr Always' pocket! :)

I don't have a weight problem *really* (on the cusp of overweight according to my BMI though so I guess I really ought to lose the stone and a half I've gained since my wedding! :o) but it frustrates me that doctors seem to blame whatever they can on one's weight! It's like an easy get-out clause for them isn't it? 'Lose weight and everything will fix itself'. Big hugs for BZ for having had to listen to this too many times! :o

Vesper, don't worry too much about how to ask for help; I just went to my GP and said, 'We've been trying for nearly a near and I'm concerned that nothing's happened. Could you run some tests?' The anti-D's shouldn't really affect that, and if they're mentioned, don't give in!

Enjoy your 2 weeks away from the office Tea Lover! :) I've got a week left then I'm on holiday for 2 weeks and I can't freaking wait- Disney here we come! :j I'll be totally useless next week, might as well get the doctor to sign me off with giddiness! :rotfl:

    Oooh and COMP- ouch!!!

Morning everyone! Teamlowe - I love that cardigan! I really enjoy knitting, but I only do simple stuff like scarves! Haha! Wish I could do more fancy stuff - did you just learn yourself?

    Hugs for CD1 Apple*Pie!

Birdie - I am sooooooo jealous! We were at Disney for our honeymoon in August and it was THE BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!!!

Tea Lover - enjoy your two weeks off!

Atton - The wedding will be amazing and will be the best day of your life! Enjoy every second of it coz it flies by so fast!! And don't be scared! I thought I would be nervous, but on the day I was totally calm so you'll be fine! Exciting stuff! :)

Uuuuummmmm - I can't think of anything else, but hugs and baby dust to everyone in general.

So.....this morning i did a test at only 11dpo because I wanted to see if there was any sign of a faint positive and *I think* there was definitely something there. A total squinter, but definitely there! OH confirmed he can see a very faint line!! I am trying so hard not to get my hopes up because it could be that we are both seeing things or it could be an evap etc. etc. but I cannot wait to do another test tomorrow morning and see if it is any darker! Eeeeeeek! So no alcohol for me at our work night out tonight! Gonna have to use the antibiotics excuse!

Hope everyone has a good day! :)
