Hi everyone, thanks for the warm welcome back!
Yep is the answer to your questionn QQ - I am having my mirena removed next Tuesday - eek a week today. I have a feeling that I just know I am with the right one and am very excited!
Can anyone tell me about their experience of having the mirena removed?0 -
When I go on dragons den to market the pink/blue wee pg indicator I will also be promoting the purple wee ovulation indicator, and a new type of digi. For a BFP it still says pg, but for a BFN it will say "not this month, but definitely v soon, now get some chocolate and treat yourself*"
*obviously it will be quite small writing

Niknok do I remember right this is your 2nd cycle off the pill? It does take a while for some people to settle into a rhythm, its been x years since your body did this on its own, I think its understandable it takes a wee while to get going. Maybe you could use temping or opks next month to get a good idea of ov, then you wouldn't be waiting from cd28 onward?
You are right hun. I came off the pill may 30th. Had withdrawl bleed on 3rd June, the first proper AF 12th July. Did lots of BDing at start of this month but it's been once in 10 days now!! Think I have certainly missed my chance of Ive been getting BFN's xDFW - Feb 2016 £19k
Mortgage Savings - £500
Baby 2 on Board - 7 Weeks
Working towards my 30th and have a 3 year plan to be debt free, business built and own our house!0 -
Hmmm. My work colleague seems to have pulled herself out of her 'bad patch' and doesn't need my emotional support (hasn't since sunday). So why am I still feeling so tired & drained?
I'm trying the tempting fate route - I've booked a doctor's appointment for my shoulder and they'll probably want to x-ray it. So hoping I can't make that appointment, but I know deep down that I really need to (shoulder subluxes - google it if you want, but it means it partially dislocates. Every day.)
Dashing off to a meeting soon, so I'll catch up properly later.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

If you can feel the string its fine, far easier having it out than in, its just a little pull and straight out in a matter of seconds! I had a bad time of it because the first time I went to have mine out they couldnt find the strings so had to open my cervix and root around in my uterus to see if they could find them. When I went back the strings had come back down themselves. So as long as you can still feel the strings it will be fine!
My periods went back to normal straight away and I got pregnant on my second cycle!0 -

Hi, thanks for that. The whole having it put in was an experience and was just hoping that the removal was not going to be as bad. I have never been able to feel the strings but had it checked a month after it was put in and they said they could see the strings. Its been in for about 6 months so lets see what happens next week now! xx:D0 -
lilymay, leave it a few days then test again, it took me ages to get a positive on a soy cycle, don't go to the doctors just yet!0
