Eastenders - Stella and Ben

Is it just me or does anyone else find this storyline very uncomfortable to watch?

Maybe I should just turn it off - that would save me money!!

Incredibly uncomfortable, yes...but I think thats the idea. It's child abuse at it's scariest and sadly happens to thousands of children evey day :( but is rarely recognised....who'd believe a child over an adult? And thats if the child even has the bravery to say something in the first place.

I want Phil to find out...that will be a Mitchell moment to rememer!!

I have read that Stella marries Phil. The reason she is being nasty to Ben is because she wants Phil all to herself. Lets hope Peggy finds out soon

hes a little git so who cares
  • I don't watch very often but saw it on BBC3 last night. Didn't Ben used to wear hearing aids? I noticed he didn't have one in - has there been a storyline around it?

Anyone know what happened to them/it?

  • i've seen a couple of episodes (one where she burned his hand and last nights with the playground bullies) and it makes me really uncomfortable. stella scares me, the actress playing her does a good job.

ben is supposed to be ten (but he and abbie seem much younger than that) and i have a ten year old myself so this is really horrible.

Ben is getting bullied at school so he hid his hearing aid down the sofa thinking he would get the day off. Phil made him go to school anyway the poor thing was being bullied in the playground and wet himself.
Stella found the hearing aid and dropped it in a glass of water

I think i need to get out more

he hid so he wouldn't have to go to school. Stella found it and chucked it in a mug of coffee so now he is waiting for a new one. I actually had my hands over my eyes last night when she was watching him get beaten up!!
If Eastenders keep this storyline going she could end up becoming the worst soap baddie ever - i hope so

ohh i didn't realise stella was evil!! i've missed alot of episodes, and only half watched the others (OH hates eastenders!) but the bits i saw she was being really nice to ben and he was smiling!! and it was ben who was "bullying" stella!!! when did the roles change??

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
