Morning all!
DS woke up 3 times in the night, crying, dunno what was wrong but he seems fine now - I've plonked him in front of Cbeebies 'cause I'm too knackered to deal with him - the cat kept waking me up as well so I've had !!!!!! all sleep!
I've put the rubbish out but haven't yet put the WM on, but excitingly we went to B&Q last night and bought the bits needed to plumb in our DW - I think OH is doing it tonight and I can't wait! :T
Today I'm making macoroni, spinach and cheese bake, the spinach needs using up soon, and it should be nice and easy. Got to tidy the kitchen before I can get started and I can't face it at the moment!
Yesterday I spent about 2 hours clearing out one of the raised beds in the garden - I dug it out intending to plant out my salad leaves but the whole thing is covered in bindweed roots! They're so evil! I did manage to plant out my redcurrant and raspberry though, and we've now got 4 garlics and 7 onions visible - so I'm very excited!
AMie399 - ew, Ian Beale? If it's any consolation, I've had recurring dreams about Russel Brand and I didn't like him at all. Now he makes me feel all hot and slightly embarrassed...:o
Yorkshirechick - I keep telling myself I'm going to start losing weight too but I'm not getting round to it, there's no excuse but laziness for me, so I might well be joining you in the weightloss thread too. I'm going to a wedding in August and I'm size 16 and would rather be smaller again before then...
Essex-girl - Just keep thinking about how lovely it'll be when it's all done - we're living in chaos too, having just moved in - nothing's as we want it, but it will be eventually...
Loved everyones bridge photographs yesterday, didn't make it back on so I missed joining in, but todays pets I can do - here's my little Mew cat when I first got her as a kitten :
And here's her now, 7 years on :
Sometimes I think she's cute, sometimes I think she looks like Yoda (a yoda that ran into the back of a bus as a kitten, uh, young yoda, um...now I'm confused).
Hugs to anyone that needs them!0 -
Hello again,
Havnt read all the thread yet, but on skimming through noticed that moggins other half is being 'silly' - wanted to say, he cant take anything that you need for the children and i would think the kenwood chef would be used for childrens meals, so hands off to him!!!! (my ex wanted to take the childrens tv and video and was told that he couldnt, he wasnt allowed the washing machine either)
My worrying dream - was Simon Cowell!!!!!:eek:0 -
Hi All! Just popping in for a quick hello!
Got the lunchclub today, so off to prepare about 20 kg of veggies! Believe me, that takes some peeling and slicing! Luckily my hands are pretty good this morning, so we should be fine. Then I must have a quick whip round, since I'm so tired by the time I get back, I need an hour or so just to sit and recover:rotfl: :rotfl: (the two hours of setting up and cooking the lunch are fine, it's the two hours of serving them and then clearing up that are manic!)
Still it's worth it when you see the olduns enjoying a feed and more importantly, a good chat!:D
Not quite so sunny here as yesterday, but the sun is trying hard to come through so I think I'll chance some washing on the line. Wasn't it glorious yesterday? Felt like summer in the afternoon, or was that just me in too warm clothing from first thing lol.
Best get off now, hope you have good days,
CMxx
PS Sorry forgetting my manners, welcome to all the new friends, and good to see you back to those that have been awol!!!You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
catowen think simon cowell is bit better than Ian Beale or Martin Clunes - but then ! perhaps not!
Back then I was on a mixture of mediaction (pain killers, sleeping tablets & anti-de[ressants - that was my excuse!) :rotfl:Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Hello everyone - especially all the newbies :hello:
Big Hugs to all in need - there are too many of you to remember but I have been reading the thread even though I haven't posted :grouphug:
There seems to be something in the OS air at the minute... firstly Kaz mentions a new bloke before scuttling off into cyberspace before we could [STRIKE]force[/STRIKE] coax any more details from her, and now Moggins and Scuzz :smileyhea Good luck to you all!!!!
Woke up feeling pants todayThe fog/mist is lifting a bit now, but it never properly cleared yesterday and I hope it doesn't so the same today
Watched the Ice Hockey last night - it was the cup final and we lost, although we played brilliantly. I nearly cried!! Although OH managed to get a puck signed by my favourite player - he even wrote my name and put kisses :happyhear And he was stood in front of me, pressed against me in the crowd for a good few minutes  Of the team of 20, there are probably 3 that I would turn down :rotfl: It's the PlayOff's this weekend, we play Nottingham away on Sat and at home on Sun - we have beat them in every game this season so fingers crossed for the trend to continue, and then we will be in the PlayOff finals over easter weekend...
My sister is back ooop norf from art college in London for the easter hols and it's killing me knowing she's only a 45min drive away as I haven't seen her since Boxing Day, but I have too much work to do to go over this week. Next Tuesday we (me, my 2 sisters (aged 18 and 13) and my mum) are off to Barcelona for a few days so I will see her then, but I'm just impatient!!!
Meanwhile not much has happened in the world of Roz... I'm thoroughly fed up of my job and am desperately trying to work out if I can survive my last 3 months of uni without working and without going into my overdraft... :money: Have been working on my dissertation, and hope to really knuckle down today and complete most of it by Friday afternoon.
On that note, I am off to make myself a cuppa and settle myself on the sofa with my reading...
Happy Wednesday everyone, Take care xxxxxx0 -
