Morning all
I have to agree, I would rather kiss Shrek
The day has changed drastically for me, I thought I was going to have DD home all day as the school almost sent her home yesterday, she was coughing so much she was sick. But this morning there is no sign of a cough at all so as I have to take my friends little boy to school this morning she is going after all!!
I am going into town later to buy a new dinner service and a set of cutlery. The Pain has decided he wants half of my kitchen almost, so I am planning on buying him a couple of very cheap sets of kitchen stuff so I am left with my nice much more expensive stuff intactThe swine even threatened to take my Kenwood Chef last night and I think he was only half joking!!

Morning all. I seem to have lost track of what everyone's up to lately, see - work gets in the way, can't wait til I leave LOL. Moggins, I was in town yesterday, what's happened to the £2 shop? I wanted to go in but it was closed. If you need to hide anything you can sneak it round to my house, I'll look after it til it's safe from the Pain ROFL.Bulletproof0

Morning all,
Moggins, you hang onto your Kenwood Chef!
Helonearth, welcome!
Not much to report here this morning....everyone managed to get up and out without too much fuss. I'm just going to take the little one to school and have a quick whip round the house and then I'm off to my monthly team meeting. It's month end and I have paperwork to finish before I go too.
I made a chocolate swiss roll for the first time yesterday and it was lovely! This board is definitely improving my baking skills.....and boy did they need improving! Unfortunately, it's also improving my waistline!
Right, I'd better get a move on....
I hope you all have a good day!

Good morning all,
Haar has come in today (though down here they call it a "Sea Fret")
Just polished off some bacon and eggs. Mmmmm.
Back to work today after a week off. Really wish I didn't have to go. (And hoping that when I go in the trip to Delhi at the end of the month will have been cancelled - I really hope so)
Managed to sort out in my head what I want to do with the back yard and the front garden so DH will be dragged to a garden centre on saturday (I need someone to do the heavy lifting!)
Need to sort out meal plan - I'm going to do a big shop at the beginning of the month and then top ups throughout, lets see how that goes. I'm thinking if I have stocks of washing powder etc then I know the budget only has to stretch to food. Anything has to be better than this month - I have spent and spent and spent.
Ian Beale - aaaaaaa. ptoo ptoo (that's me spitting!)

Morning everybody :hello:
I wouldn't normally be on here as I would be at work but DS has been sick this morning so had to have the day off (all this talk of kissing Ian Beale and Shrek is making me feel ill as well!! :rotfl: )
I'm trying to reduce my food bill and I've had some wonderful replies to my thread (people on here are so kind and helpful). I'm so inspired and even more determined to get my bill down going to have a go at making my own cereal bars, soups, sauces and I think a bit of batch cooking over the Easter hols - so I'm going to prepare my lists and meals plans today.
Hugs to all that need them and have a good day.
