Sounds like you're having a bad week altogether. Hope it gets better soon.
Is there not a department in the council who deal with unfair landlords etc? Might be worth asking about the landlord issues over in the house buying/renting part of the forum, I'm sure I've seen it mentioned there before.
Sorry I'm not much help.0 -
Definitely post about your landlord on your house buying part of the forum there are people on there who know all the rules about that type of stuff. And surely he should be paying for the front door not you?0

Things just keep getting more and more complicated so I am seeing the CAB tomorrow. We counted out five issues that need sorting lol. I could be there a while.
Fortunately, I 'may' have sorted the door repair problem (the landlord of the neighbouring property has agreed to pay it., but she's also sold the house overnight - presumably to a cash buyer).., but after so many false starts I'll believe it when I see it.
I am unable to believe how the CSA work. I received a wonderful letter saying that my ex has been assessed as earning nothing, so wouldn't pay CSA. After a very very long phone call (96% of the time queueing) it turns out that he was supposedly not earning for a period of time last year but they are still assessing what he's earning now. The letter didn't say that clearly though.., just said he was paying nothing because he was earning nothing for a period of time last year lol.
Its a bit annoying because he's texting me telling me I am making him homeless (he can't stay with his partner anymore apparently) but he's told the CSA that his partner who is also working supported him totally last year. Me smells a rat knowing what he's like (won't tell the truth if a lie will do).., but not a lot I can do.0 -
can I ask a quick question on behalf of a friend....her ex partner was paying through CSA for her child and a vouluntary payment to another woman for a different child...he has now moved in with the other woman...but has not informed the CSA ...will this affect my friends payments??? will he be assessed on one child or two??0

I did a private arrangement and then my ex didn't pay and then had to go back all through the CSA. Its all done now but what a head ache. Just do it the proper way, well I would no matter what promises.3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:
