    Hi Robin

Thanks for your kind words. I have images of you wrapped up warm eying that elephant sideways. Do hope the headache can be either kept at bay or resolved. One bite at a time that elephant will be solved.

Feeling the cold this week, well interspersed with feeling hot. Not great, wonder what else I am coming down with now! Currently in bed with Doglet and a hot water bottle. Do stay safe and warm.

I have to face the window repair scenario tomorrow energy sapping and fiscally unattractive. So as we both have less than desirable tasks ahead I wish you all the best! we shall overcome!

Lol, I read that as eBaying that elephant. That would be a profitable solution, methinks.

    Hugs to you missrlr

    And you, Robin x

Hi Missrlr, what a prospect; one bite at a time, lol.

Oh dear; hope you're not in for another lurgi (or might be symptoms of The Change? ..That seems to go on for years :o). Bed is a good place to maintain warmth; happy snuggling with both your hotties! :T

Lordy; are the windows being replaced or just looked at? Best of Luck with the task; will think positive thoughts for you every time I return for another bash at FMT - you're right; we'll both get through our ordeals!

Had a row with Clever Dog today: Gave her sardines for lunch because I hadn't noticed she'd run out of frozen chicken. The substitution did not meet with approval, which resulted in noisy discord (didn't help the headache :o).
So I offered a sausage, which was accepted graciously then taken outside.
Later; called CD to get ready for a walk, and noticed her muzzle dirtied with earth.. Didn't have to look far - she'd buried her sausage in the middle of my newly planted bank of bee-friendly flowers - grrr!
So instead of going out, she had to watch me repair the damage.
Ears flat out sideways, belly on the floor and tail waving slowly as she stared intently at me, rolling onto her back as soon as she had my attention; you've never seen a dog so remorseful.. :o
Melted my heart - ended up getting DS4's turkey drumstick out of the freezer for her. We shared it (cooked my half though, lol).
Now she's stretched out in front of the stove, argument forgotten - a picture of contentment. :)

Hi Judi, aha; did wonder if your dog might be a Lab / Poodle cross - they are getting very popular, deservedly so (in fact one would be a better 'starter-dog' for DFw's neighbour than the unfortunate Malamute she chose): Nice nature, no shedding, easy to train, and not as prone to greed as a pedigree Lab, lol. ..Bet Dolly is a lovely character. :)

Hello again Robin, I was busy with work over the last few weeks (project passed on by friend and colleague who could not complete it) and have just caught up with events at the Nest.
I loved your description of a contrite CD. I have caught so many interesting expressions on my canine friends' faces over the years.
My OE sheepdog, would if disturbed when her attention was elsewhere, give you what I can only describe as a polite smile before returning to the matter in hand.

She would also greet me by saying 'Oh Mum', very much in the same manner as Blaze the Husky is saying 'Nooo' in this video.

    I've never owned a D7son.
When I was in the market for a new vac, I recalled the trip to the recycling centre in Cardiff I made with my sister about 6 years ago. We queued in the car and watched as others in front took out items . Literally every other car held a D7son, the skips were full of them.
So I was not seduced by the hype.

I went for a red Henry and came home with a pink Hetty (I am not a pink person, but Henry had sold out). I have grown to love her. By far the most efficient machine I have ever owned.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

Hello Diary and Faithful Friends, :hello:

You were up very late last night, Mcculoch! Thanks for popping in - can just picture your dog's expression, lol. I'd seen the video of Blaze earlier, but there's another husky who does even better forming human words; Mishka the talking husky (google her; lots on Y0uTube). She looks very similar to the first rescue husky who found her way to our family (sadly gone to Rainbow Bridge many years ago). That dog had been brought up speaking French and Arabic, but also learned to say "I Love you!" clearly enough for strangers to understand her. :rotfl: :T

I've still got a thick head, and finally the flashing lights have started so it's time to give in; take migraine meds and go back to bed for a few hours. :o

    Thank you, Granny. :)

DS4 turned up before I'd gone back to bed; he noticed at once that I've got a bit of a temperature - luckily I hadn't yet taken the migraine meds.
So now dosed up with paracetamol instead, and determined to get through at least one FMT before 'giving in'. :o
    Keep plodding, eh?

How are you feeling today? :)

Thanks for asking still feeling much more positive now that I know there is an end in sight. Still haven't heard from the hospital though which is a bit frustrating but B said to get back in touch with them if nothing within 2 weeks. Been just over a week now. So glad it's the weekend soon, I'm living for them at the moment and going to take it easy again with FMTs interspersed throughout.

Hope you feel better soon and temperature is nothing sinister
