I signed up online on 21st August for phone and broadband, paid for a years line rental upfront and got the instant "welcome" email promising "an email and letter confirming the package including your go-live date". But since then nothing...

I phoned the order tracker but it does not recognise my phone number, have just spent half an hour talking to customer services, they could not find my account and eventually told me to call sales but I had already tried that - they just tried to sell me a sim card and told me to call customer services.

As you can see from very early days, the service is somewhat lacking...........

I hope i'm wrong but i don't think the TT rep will answer your PM due to their data protection policy. As they've advised you, twitter them and they'll sort out your issue. If you don't have a twitter account, just create a temporary one - you don't have to use your real name and use a temporary email address if necessary. It may be the only way you can resolve this.

Be advised TT Exec Team are just as hopeless as third party call centre's many many issues they did not resolve correctly THEN..."yes we over billed you and yes we didnt sort it out, but what gave you the right to reclaim the direct debits you should have just claimed the differnence back from the bank".......erm...the DIRECT DEBIT GUARANTEE SCHEME says FULL refund dear TT, not part FULL. And for a DD indemnity they barred ALL my services.

Idiots, would not even allow me to leave when they informed me the changes of call charges by email as THEY locked me out my TT email & it went past the 30 day period & TT admitted to this.

Frankly to get out of contract & have services I had to install another phoneline and ignore them, still awaiting a debt letter so I can wipe my bum with them at ADR ruling, then court for compensation for continued breaches of contract throughout the term. They are refusing to send a letter of money due or send it to debt management or write the amount off, while reporting such to my credit file as they know my plan of action as soon as they send a bill/debt letter.

TT are a nightmare which will make themselves bankrupt.

Finally got up and running with Talktalk (many thanks to Baby Frogmella).

Broadband is fine but the (formerly BT) phone line is noisier - anyone else found this or have any ideas what might cause it?
