    Afternoon all

Spent most of the day in the car, including 2 long stretches on the M25 - boring. Only flying was putting the washing on the line, DS2 got it in so at least it is dry.

Seem to have brought a black dog back from my car journey so I'm raiding the freezer for something for dinner and then doing a HHC to try to engage my mind.

Sorry to hear about the whooping cough, pigpen - that's nasty.

Bravery and pain-free vibes are heading your way, Lame Wolf.

Dustykitten, I hope the BD goes away as fast as he arrived (70 mph on the M25? - or was it doing its impression of London's biggest car park?).

The plumber eventually came at 4.30, having rung earlier to say he hadn't forgotten me. He has replaced a leaking plastic tap on the cold tank with a posh new non-leaking brass one. Hopefully I shall not get dripped on in bed tonight.

The new grandchild has still not yet put in an appearance.

Lame Wolf: I hope that the injection works well for your shoulder. I have had two - the first one was wonderful and the relief was fantastic. Hope it will be the same for you.

Must go and empty the DW.

Tomorrow I have to take OH for an eye test. I can leave him there while I have look around the shops - treat!

Thanks for that Dusty. I hope your BD finds a juicy bone to snack on and leaves you in peace, very soon.

Samuel is in HDU just for closer monitoring than they do on the normal ward and waiting for results of blood tests to confirm whooping cough or not..

Why do these things happen when I am not at home?!?! :( I pee'd OH off because I said if DD1 needs me I can be home in a few hours... but they are more important than pleasant visits with his family so he'll have to lump it! I am quite willing to go home just with Dot on the train.. my sister would wtach her for me so I could help DD1.

Oh poor Samuel! Don't think twice about going if she needs you (hugs). I'm sure it's all this carpy weather. Damp air and little lungs, it's not good.

Well I have done wmx1 today, on an airer in conservatory, as was forecast drizzle this aft. Also kept kitchen quite clean and tidy, and dusted and swept living room and hall floors. Nothing too strenuous. Or stressful.

Tots dunked and in bed, DS was asleep in minutes, DD chased back to bed once. So far...
