I have learned a valuable lesson today....that is, never attempt to sweep a chimney by yourself, it results in a mess of global proportions and black snot!:D

Needless to say we need to gut the front room at some point and I'm not sure the carpet nor indeed the furniture is salvageable.:o

Anyways, *smiles dementedly and gets a bit high pitched*....we're off on holiday tomorrow so I'll deal with it when I get back, if I come back....:rotfl::p

Oh dear. Littlest moo is being a moo. She's currently howling and shoving her blankie in my face saying "want a cuddle blankie" over and over. She's already been told off and went to sit behind her door so no one could get in. I poked my head around and she said "I a mad moo" (bad mood).

So it seems our day has started at 5.30...

I'll hop in the shower soon and get them dressed for nursery. Paid stuff till about 3 then that's me for the week! I'm all yours, lol x

Morning all. Hope your day improves Bossymoo.

I have been awake for hours but didn't actually get up till 7. Was woken at 3.30 by tractors harvesting in the fields, then DH had to get up at 4.30 for work.

Anyway, have just eaten, about to shower. And then a quick tidy of LR as rescheduled gasman is due today. Dog walking will be delayed as he could arrive at any time, so I'll try to make a start on the list before the paid stuff.

It's very windy here this morning and seems to be getting darker by the minute inserted of lighter! Rain soon I think so will not be putting any washing out today . . . again. Oh well, there are plenty of jobs to get on with indoors.

I have cleaned up and mopped out the failed freezer so it is all dry and ready for when it gets taken away tomorrow.

So far today I have cleaned the bathroom and swept the kitchen floor.

Ok, update, LR tidied and vacuumed, got distracted by curtain coming off track in BR so sorted that. Had a look at the list and working up from the bottom decided to sort some emails, but that led me to one from Nect*r and I have lots of points so got distracted looking for a new rug. I know I know. Doing it from the comfort of a chair from freecycle though, so I'm not that bad. Anyway, time for the paid stuff now.

    DS dropped at train station

DS got to Sheffield - didn'tprint out map because his phone will 'sat nav' him

    phone rang

'Go on Google and tell me where I am'

Fires up PC ' DS 'helpfully' gave me street names - no, he's in Steel City - I need landmarks (while waiting for PC)
'Is there anyone you can ask?'
DS spotted a policeman and asked for directions (he was fairly near, I had established that while waiting for PC). No doubt copper thinks my lad is up before the beak! :rotfl:

He has arranged 3 days observation/work experience with solicitor parent of child I teach.

Anyway flying suspended as my dad isn't golfing so decorating will be the order of the day. He's bringing his OAP discount card;) in case he needs to buy paint.

    Morning

Hugs to all the ill children and adults around xx

    Daily stuff done
Work is keeping me out of trouble!!
Next door to the left away on hols, so looking after their cat and all it wants is food and cuddles.

Next door the other side, the husband of my friend that died in July, has been very ill for the last 4 days, and told no one, he has well and truly has his a ss kicked, as his DD and her hubby are away on their hols and I promised her I would keep an eye on him.~~ what I let down I am! well lunchtime I am taking food round, sandwich and salad, to night he can walk over all of 2 mins, for dinner, I will take DD's dog for a walk, while it has been out in their large garden it has not been for a walk as such.
Then I am checking his fridge for food, weather he likes it or not, and then go shopping if need be...............I know he is a very private man, and still coming to terms with his wife's death, but I really don't want a 2nd death and having to ring the DD up.
