Lounge and hall all done; I did the windows yesterday (there was loads of Jessie nose-art to get rid of, to provide Derek and Clive with a blank "canvas"):D and today the large dragons have had a proper clean - no, I haven't been going at it like a bull at a gate, Mr LW did the dusting:A while I mixed a cherry'n'coconut cake, which is now in the oven baking.:o

It minded me that I have those moulds for DDs pack lunch and I never use them:o I will need to bake tomorrow at some point for pack lunches and DD and I have a hairdressers appointment at 11am. plus cousin visiting at some point too, if I'm not back from the hairdressers I told him to make himself a coffee and I wouldnt be long:D

    Hello!

Been at the paid stuff, absolutely manic today, not had a minute to myself since before 7. Don't know what room i'm supposed to be in... Hope it's kitchen as that's ok, lol.

Anyway, chores will have to wait as I'm having a breather.

Actually, I tell a lie, I have posted a voucher for a refund, which was on my extras list, and I've ordered my euros, which wasn't, but should have been.

Congrats on the new grandbubba, ionafan!

Congrats Ionafan on the DGD(?) grand-daughter

Honey Bear (?) I would be hopping mad -

    am clearly channelling Tommy Walsh

sinc emy last post I have

been to Wickes where I bought cement mix and kiln-dried sand.
Been to the ironmongers and bought a builders trowel (Wickes were too expensive)
and today I have weeded and de-mossed the 'drive' (big enough for the Vallimobile) path to front door and front doorstep, which is all block paving. Weeds and moss have been binned, drive swept, loose blocks on doorstep edge have been cemented down then I have trickled and swept kiln-dried sand into all the nooks and crannies and crevices!
While I was out there I got to watch an Olympic event - and I was the only spectator - I think the competitors were the Dominican republic, India and the USA - in a mixed-gender cycle pursuit race! Winner (dunno which country she was) them commentated - and commented on the runners up and suggested they need more training! :rotfl:

Then came in, had a (desperately needed) second shower

THEN Mum and Dad came 'to help with the stripping' so I have done more stripping in the dining room.

I am very freckly and very, very achey!
