i dont know it all, but i do know bullcrap when i hear it,
if any of it was true there would be proof, guess what there is exactly none.

I think if you read about Helen Duncan you will be surprised to read that the British Government believed her to be a psychic.

Not exactly true, that is what her propaganda implies as she was charged under a witch craft act, she was actually imprisoned for being a spy and for attempting to mislead about being able to communicate with the dead.. She was widely debunked - she was one of the 'mediums' who set up cheesecloth on strings to represent the dead.

Even the London spiritualism alliance considered her a fraud having actually acquired some of her ectoplasm which proved to be material.

Well then a doctor is the person you go to for this advice, not some lunatic who thinks they can see into the future, or know what your health is like without ever having met you.

    You mean like NHS direct?

I did go look up Helen Duncan as Charles' Mum suggested. However, the first page I read was the Wikipedia page about her, which isn't very complimentary. And it agrees with (but covers much more than) Soolin's description. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helen_Duncan

Charles' Mum - would you disagree with the account of her life and career as given on Wikipedia?

The facts of her life are indisputable. The crux if the matter is was she a spy or a psychic ?

The question is how did she know about the sinking of hms barnham in November 1941 when it wasn't officially reported until January 1942 ?

    Oh Jesus, seriously?

Ermmmmmmm...the British Admiralty knew it had been sunk. They also informed all the next of kin (with admittedly a request for secrecy). Let's consider which was more likely: she had access to privelleged information, or she could talk to the dead. Hmmm, tricky one that.
