  • You should have a Collectplus tracking number that shows when and where you dropped your parcel and the tracking details. On one (of my many) telephone calls to Collectplus to trace the parcel they used my e-mail address to trace. So if you don't have a tracking number they can find it in another way. There is also a claims e-mail address through the collectplus website where you can claim back for a lost parcel but only up to £50 unless you took out additional cover when you booked.
    Good luck with them !!!
    Hope this helps
  • hi,
I am facing a similar situation where I returned a package via a collect + store 2 weeks ago but the company through which I ordered have not confirmed receipt.
They usually confirm receipt after approx. 2 days. I tried calling them but they said they can only track the return with the collect + tracking number, which I cannot find.
I tried calling collect + who also said they cannot track the parcel without the tracking number. They advised that the store at which I dropped the parcel might be able to help, but the store has said they do not keep any information on tracking numbers.

Is there anything I can do to find the parcel? I can't afford for this to go missing.

    Many thanks

  • My mother sold a wii on eBay and sent via collect plus. The buyer never received the item. When contacting collect plus they said they would need to interview the driver, but it turns out he had been "dismissed". My mum sold the wii for £80, inc postage, but can only hope to claim £50 back. IF she does get compensated, (note the word IF) then she will still be £30 out of pocket one she refunded the buyer and no Wii.
This can't be right! . o make matters worse it was the first time she sold something on eBay and her first experience of collect plus. ever NEVER again.
  • I too lost my tracking number for a return to Dorothy Perkins, which they stated never arrived.

I would like to thank Philip Marsh @ collect + for his swift reply and providing the information I needed . Off to do battle with DP's now!

Sorry - but levels of compensation are there for a reason. Since the standard amount was less than the selling price, why was this agreed to, rather than paying a slight uplift and being FULLY covered? Any courier works this way - so yes, it IS right.

Her inexperience is unfortunate but she's learned quickly - irrespective of the shipping company used.
  • I ordered some shoes from Very through the collect + system. Didnt manage to get to pick them up so eventally got a text saying they had been returned to Very on 22nd March, but obviously Very have never had them back, now I am being charged for them plus late payment fees as I refuse to pay for something I never had.

What is the usual period you have to wait for something to get back? Im sure it hasnt been this long before?

I'm having a similar problem - returned an ASOS parcel using Collect+, checked a week later with my tracking code and it had been delivered. Now ASOS claim they never received it and I've lost my receipt. Over £150 worth of goods in there...

    Can anything be done?
  • Same predicament, sent parcel through shop, lost proof and now the parcel has not arrived. Goods worth a lot. GUTTED! Paul are you still there? If yes, please help me!

  • So, just an update. Emailed the address listed on the forum to get my CollectPlus reference numbers. The guy was soooooooo helpful! Within 24 hours of emailing I had all the information I needed to slap ASOS round the ears with: Parcel dropped off at collection point, picked up day after, delivered at ASOS. Emailed ASOS and now 3 weeks after I have sent the items back, they have emailed me to say they got my items. I understand that things can go wrong, but email response is too slow and no one helped me like the man at Collect Plus. Without his effort I'd still be going back and forth with ASOS C.S.

So big thanks to Philip at CollectPlus, for offering a dynamite service :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
